I’m sure you’ve all head of Build a Bear by now, right? Build a Bear is a place where you can have your children make their very own stuffed animals. I haven’t been able to bring my children in to make their own animals yet but I can’t wait til I’m able to do that. I know they’re going to enjoy making their own animals. They get to stuff their own animals with stuffing as well as dress them up the way they want to. They have a lot of different accessories to choose from to make your animal perfect.
I had the chance to review the Ho, Ho, Ho Wishes Santa and Chilly Cheeks Pinky the Penguin. These are the ones that my children had chosen. My oldest daughter (Mercades) wanted the penguin and my youngest daughter (Tesla) wanted Santa.
This pink penguin is 16″ in height. She’s got pink fur with a little bit of pink hair on top of her head as well. She’s got the yellow legs and feet. Then of course she’s got her yellow beak.
The outfit is so cute. It came with this pink sweater, the pink skirt with snowflakes on it as well as silver shoes. My daughter loves to dress up the penguin with these clothes. The shoes are always a bit of a difficulty getting on but I’m able to help her with those. I’m very amazed and how beautiful the outfit is. I couldn’t have picked out a better outfit myself. I think it suits the penguin nicely.
I thought the penguins jacket was very cute. It has fur around the top of the hood and the rest of it is white and very shiny. I think the jacket really makes the penguin stand out. It’s just so adorable!
I thought Santa was so cute. He’s got the whole red suit with his red hat as well.
Santa’s outfit comes with pants, a shirt, a bag and boots. I thought this was the perfect look for him. It’s exactly what Santa would be wearing so it fit him very well. This also has some fur around the ends of the pants as well as a few spots around the top of the suit. The black rubber boots are easier to get on then the shoes, at least that’s what I thought. He even has a beard and mustache. It definitely wouldn’t be Santa without his beard. We all know Santa as the guy with the white beard. He’s also got a belt on the top of the outfit. He did come with a bag as well. This way you can put any small toys in his bag if you’d like. This is the perfect outfit for him.
He also came with glasses. These glasses are gold wire framed. Of course it wouldn’t be a Santa without his glasses. I don’t know why, but my daughter doesn’t seem to like the glasses on Santa. I think they make him look nice. I never knew they had glasses for some of the stuffed toys. I think it’s a great idea and I’m glad they had him with glasses.
If you’re looking for some great Christmas gifts for your kids, this would be a great gift for them. You don’t have to go in to get them done either. You can order them right off the website and have them shipped to your door too.
