Cheesy Potato Kielbasa Skillet With Jennie-O

27 August, 2017 by KatBp 46 Comments

Disclosure: I’m part of the Jennie-O Switch Circle Blogger Program. I was not compensated for this post but I did receive the turkey for the post. All opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours.

As most of you know by now, I’m part of the Jennie-O Switch Circle Blogger Program. This means that they send me some Jennie-O products a few times a year. I get to share with you all about my experience with all these amazing turkey products. I love to make recipes out of the products they send me. This time around, they sent me some turkey kielbasa as well as turkey sausage. I wanted to use the kielbasa to make a some cheesy potato kielbasa skillet.

Ingredients:

1 TBS. Olive Oil

4 Yukon Potatoes

1/2 Cup Chopped Green Pepper

1/2 Cup Chopped Onion

Jennie-O Turkey Kielbasa

1/4 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. Pepper

1 Cup Water

2 Cups Shredded Cheese (I used sharp cheddar)

This is a very easy recipe to make. I started off by putting the olive oil in the pan. Next I just cut up the potatoes.

After cutting up the potatoes, I cut up the green pepper.

After I cut up the green peppers, I cut up the onion.

After everything was all cut up, I put in the turkey kielbasa as well as the salt and pepper. Once this was all in, I cooked it on medium/low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes were soft.

After that, I sprinkled on the shredded cheese and put that back on the heat just until it all melted.

That’s all there is to do with this recipe. It’s so easy to make, and it turned out great. I will be making this again sometime soon. I was very happy with how it turned out. I love that I can make healthier meals with Jennie-O products. I also love that my family loves the meals as well. It’s important for me to make some healthier options for my family as well as making them tasty.

I hope that you all give Jennie-O products a try if you haven’t yet. This turkey kielbasa was amazing! I can’t wait to make more meals with the turkey kielbasa. I have to say that it was so much better than I expected.

Have you tried any Jennie-O products yet? What about the turkey kielbasa? If you have tried it before, what do you think of it?
