Christmas Bark Recipe

18 December, 2016 by KatBp 94 Comments

The holidays are here, and it’s my favorite time of year! I just love Christmas because I get to bake up a ton of goodies with my family. This is the time where I always try to come up with some new recipes to try out. This time I wanted to make some Christmas bark. We love chocolate in our home, so why not have some bark!

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz. Bag of Chocolate Chips (or any chocolate. Almond bark works best!)
  • 2 TBS Mini Marshmallows ( I used the Jet-Puffed Mallow Bits)
  • 2 TBS Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal
  • 1 TBS Sprinkles

First you’re going to want to line an 8×8 pan/dish with parchment paper. Then you want to microwave your chocolate til it’s soft. Then you can spread the chocolate evenly in the pan/dish.

Next you can sprinkle the marshmallows all over the chocolate.

Next you can sprinkle the cinnamon toast crunch over the chocolate.

Then you sprinkle the sprinkles all over the chocolate.

After all this, you’re going to want to put this in the fridge so that the chocolate can harden. After it’s hardened (I keep it in for at least an hour or longer) you can take it out of the fridge. Then you can break it in to some pieces. You can break it in to as many pieces as you’d like.

That’s all there is to it! It’s a great treat for the holidays. I hope you all enjoy!
