If you haven’t read my review on the first Chrysalis book then make sure that you read that one first. Chrysalis Tribulations is the second book in this series. This book was as great as the first one. With all the magicals and vampires, this makes for a great read.
In this book Bree becomes more powerful with all her powers. She learns that she has many more powers than she could ever imagine. Of course Esmeralda is still trying to take Bree down and kill her. Esmeralda wants to be the one with more power, so she try’s to get rid of Bree.
If you have read my first review you see that Bree hasn’t changed yet. Right now she is a human still and in order to be a full magical she must change over. Just because she hasn’t changed yet doesn’t mean she isn’t powerful. She is probably one of the most powerful magicals out there.
In this book Madalyn, a member of the clan, thinks she has what it takes to be alpha. So, Bree lets her take over to see what she can do. Madalyn hasn’t been very nice to Bree ever since she joined the clan. Do you think Madalyn will stay being the alpha or do you think Bree will be taking over again? You will have to read this book to find out more!
So much more excitement takes place in this book. Lots of fighting and kidnapping going on in this book. It’s almost as if your right there in the book while you’re reading. If you loved the first book you’re really going to love the second one. If you haven’t read any of the books yet you should check them out. If you love books about fantasies, magicals, or vampires, this would be a great book for you!
