Have you ever played the game Sardines? This was a game I loved to play as a child. It’s just like hide and seek, but with a bit of a twist. I have always loved playing all kinds of games that keep me active. My mother use to babysit, so I grew up around a lot of people. I always played games like Sardines with all the kids. It was always a blast.
If you have never played before, then here is how it’s played. You have one player go hide, just like in hide and seek. Now everyone else goes to find the player who is hiding. Once someone finds them, they actually hide along with the hider. Whoever is the last one to find everyone has to be the hider next. It’s a lot of fun! We love the game of Sardines. Having everyone hide together makes it that much more fun.
Starlux Games has a game called Seek and Hide Sardines that is a lot of fun to play. If you love playing Sardines, I think you’re going to enjoy playing this game as well. This game is played just like you would play Sardines, except with a little bit of a twist and a challenge too. You have to hide along with the Sardines fish. Not only that, but the Sardine fish actually starts to make noise too.
Having the fish makes it easier for others to find the hider, but harder for the hider since they have to try to get the fish to stop making noise, otherwise everyone else is going to find out where they’re hiding. You can just hit the side of the sardine and it will stop making noise. The sardine will start making noise at any random time, but just hit the side and it’ll stop again.
Besides making noise, the sardine also lights up different colors. My kids and all their cousins and friends have been having a lot of fun playing this game of sardines. They love that it has more of a twist to it. Once the sardine fish goes off, they have a nice hint of where the hider might be hiding. Just make sure not to laugh when the sardine goes off or you may give away your hiding spot too. It makes a lot of funny noises, so the kids are always laughing at that too.
