Do you have kids that love to watch PBS Kids on T.V.? My girls love to watch this channel. I personally think it’s one of the best channels for children too. I love it because they always have such a great variety of shows as well as having them very educational. I love the educational shows for my daughters. They can learn a lot from them.
Have they ever seen Dinosaur Train? I think this is a great show for kids that love to see dinosaurs. It’s very entertaining and educational to watch. I recently received the Dinosaur Train Buddy’s Halloween Adventure to review. I know Halloween is over already, but it’s still a great show! My family enjoys watching Halloween movies all year round!
Buddy and his family take a special trip on the Night Train to learn about animals that are nocturnal. They take a fun nature walk under the full moon where they discover an entire skeleton of a Jurassic dinosaur. They visit a “haunted house” for a spooky party. Then learn all about “Gourd Day” – a Mesozoic Halloween where Larry Lambeosaurus shows the Pteranodon family how to hollow out the gourds and carve faces into them.
Episodes include…
Night Train – Dad, Buddy and Tiny take a special ride on the Dinosaur Train at night, learning about animals that are active after dark, culminating at the Big Pond for a nature walk under the full moon.
Fossil Fred – Buddy, Tiny and Don play “detective” and search around the Big Pond for fossils. The kids end up finding an entire skeleton of a Jurassic dinosaur.
Haunted Roundhouse – Dad takes the kids on a special Night Train to Troodon Town, where the Troodons have decorated their Roundhouse into a “haunted house” for a spooky party. The kids end up meeting a strange new nocturnal creature – a mammal named Vlad Volaticotherium, who was hiding in the roundhouse trying to get some sleep.
Big Pond, Pumpkin Patch – The Pteranodon family learns more about the customs of their neighbors, the Lambeosaurus family, when they are invited for the first time to accompany them to the Big Pond to celebrate “Gourd Day” – a kind of Mesozoic Halloween. The kids see their first pumpkins, and Larry Lambeosaurus even shows our family how to hollow them out and carve faces into them.
If your kids love Dinosaur Train, or just love dinosaurs, I hope you’ll check out this movie. It’s already been released, so you can pick it up today!
