Easter Ideas With Winning Moves Games

It’s hard to believe that Easter is right around the corner. Even though my kids are both teenagers, I still get them something for Easter. I love doing Easter baskets, and I’ll continue to do them while my daughters are still living with me. They always have fun waking up each morning and getting a basket full of stuff. Games have always been something my family enjoys, so I always try to include a game in their Easter baskets. Winning Moves Games always has a great selection of games to choose from too.

Winning Moves Games has so many wonderful games to choose from. They have a lot of newer games out now as well. My family and I already have a lot of their games because we love them so much. There are a lot of great family games. With Easter right around the corner, I always want to give my daughters games in their baskets. We enjoy them a lot, so it’s nice to get them a game each year. They always love seeing what games they get in their baskets too.

Chinese Checkers

About

Chinese Checkers is a great, light-strategy game for as few as two players or as many as six. The game is easy-to-learn and – with practice and determination – players will become more skilled in their gameplay. The key to Chinese Checkers is to always be thinking ahead to your next move. The first player to move and hop all of their marbles to the triangle opposite them is the winner. With beautiful glass marbles and a sturdy playing platform board, this Chinese Checkers game will be a great addition to your game collection.

I have always wanted to play Chinese Checkers, but I never knew how until now. I’m so glad I was able to learn how to play this game. It is actually very simple and so much fun. My daughters and I played this one together, and we all loved it. I’ve got to say that this is probably one of my favorite games now. I really enjoyed this one. It is a lot like Checkers in a way, but also a lot different as well. You still can jump other players, including yourself, but nobody gets sent back or taken. You can all continue on. The object of this game is to get all your pieces across the board before anyone else does.

Rack-O Jr.

About

Rack-O Jr. is the first-ever junior version of the family-favorite game Rack-O! The goal is to be the first player to fill your rack with cards, from lowest to highest. Number cards are color-coded to match the colors of the rainbow (and colors on the racks). Special cards add to the fun.

My daughters and I have always loved playing Rack-O, but now they have this Jr. one out as well. This one is great for those who may just being learning, especially kids. The idea of this game is to get your cards lined up from smallest number to highest. In this game, they show all the numbers and they are all color coded. This will make it easier for kids to know which cards can go where. Once someone has all the cards, they’ll win.

Boggle Jr.

About

With Boggle Jr. your preschooler will transform letters into words! Two different matching games encourage various skills and levels with fun, colorful pictures. Two-sided cards have 3-letter words on one side and 4-letter words on the other. In Match It/Spell It children look at the picture and word, then they find the matching letters, using the Boggle Jr. letter cubes, to spell out the word. In Cover It children use the word shield to cover the word and then spell (from memory) without seeing the letters.

This is another great game for younger kids, especially if they’re just learning how to spell. It is good for both matching, and helping them spell by looking at the photos. Show your kids these photos, and see if they can spell out the word with the cubes that are given. Great for both spelling and memory.

Pretty, Pretty Princess Card Game

About

This is the card game version of the classic 1990’s game. Great for fun on the go! Be the first player to collect a complete set of jewelry cards and the crown card!

Pretty, Pretty Princess was a very fun and interesting game. My daughters and I really loved this one as well. This is actually becoming another of my favorites. I really enjoyed playing this game with my daughters. In this game you have to collect all of the pieces of jewelry in order to win. Sometimes you may end up with ones you already have, so you have to put them back and move on. This game could take awhile to have someone win, but sometimes it doesn’t take long at all either. You must have the crown in your possession in order to win as well. There is also a card you might end up with that you don’t want to have, because you can’t win until that card is gone either. Lots of fun with this game!

Yahtzee Words

About

Traditional Yahtzee gameplay with a delightful difference. Numbers are out and letters are in with Yahtzee Words. Players roll 7 dice and spell words with the letters they’ve rolled. Follow the score sheet and fill in the scoring blocks, just like in regular Yahtzee. Create words of different lengths, multiple words, roll “All Vowels” and more. Use all 7 letter dice to spell a sweet,  7 letter word and you’ll score a Yahtzee!

Yahtzee Words is like combining Yahtzee and Scrabble together. This is played just like Yahtzee, but instead of the dice having numbers on them, they have letters. You must use those to create words in order to win. Of course, just like Yahtzee, you have to have the most points in the end in order to win. This one is a lot more challenging because you actually have to try to spell out some words. My whole family played this one together, and we really enjoyed it.

If you’re looking for some ideas for Easter, Winning Moves Games has a lot of great choices. If your kids love games, this would be a great choice for Easter baskets this year. My kids and I love playing games together, so I always make sure to get games whenever I can. They’ve got such a great variety of amazing games too. I’m sure you’ll find some great ones that your family will enjoy.

I love some good games as gifts, and these are great for Easter baskets. A fun gift and then a good way for the family to come together and spend quality time over the holiday break.
