Although my football team did not make it to the Superbowl, I’m still excited about it. The Superbowl is always a lot of fun no matter who is playing in it. One of my favorite things about the big game, is the food and watching the commercials. It’s always a fun time being able to be around all your family and friends while you enjoy the Superbowl.
When you’re hosting the Superbowl at your home, you know you’re going to need some great food so that you can entertain all of your guests. Rhodes has got you covered for the big game. They have a great selection of items to choose from. There are many kinds of recipes you can make with all of their products as well. They even have some football recipes for the Superbowl.
Burgers and pizza are always a huge hit during football parties. I knew I had to make some of those. You should always have a dessert as well, so I thought the cinnamon rolls were a great idea. I even made a loaf of bread. All of these items were perfect for a football party. Depending on how many people you have over, you can always make more. The sweet dough and pizza dough had three inside a package, so if you have a bigger party you can use all three of those if you want. Some of these products take longer to thaw out than others, so with some of them you could leave them in the fridge overnight. If you do put them the whole bag in the fridge, I recommend you bake all of them the next day so that they don’t rise in the fridge. If you’re only going to want one, I would recommend putting one in a separate bag and then placing it in the fridge and putting the others back in the freezer. I’ve had dough start rising in the fridge before, so this is just a tip that I would use.
I also had some sweet dough, so I just made the bread from that. I think it’s always nice to have some bread during any parties. A lot of my family members and friends love to have bread. My oldest daughter really loves bread, so this was a great choice for her. I added some melted butter on top of it after I took it out of the oven.
The cinnamon rolls were a great choice for a dessert. The fact that they were so simple to make was great. I’m all about simple when it makes it easier for parties. All you really have to do with these is thaw them out for a few hours and then cook them in the oven. It already comes with the icing as well, so you can top them off with that after they’re done baking. These were so delicious too!
Burgers are always a great idea for parties, especially for football. Everyone seems to love having burgers. I love that you can make these mini ones from the dinner rolls. My family (especially my children) love mini foods. They’re perfect for parties so that you’re not filling yourself up to fast. Parties usually have a lot of food, and you wouldn’t want to get to full without trying a little bit of everything.
Pizza has always been the best food to have during parties. I have pizza all the time when we have parties at our home. You can never go wrong with pizza. Homemade pizza is always the best too. My youngest daughter always asks if we can make homemade pizza because she loves it a lot more than store-bought pizza. We absolutely loved the pizza crust from Rhodes. I’ll certainly be buying more of this soon.
The bread was so amazing!! I have never had such a soft bread before. This was definitely a must have for me. I can’t wait to come up with some recipes with this bread as well. I can think of some sweet desserts that would go great for this bread. I enjoyed eating the bread by itself as well. Put a little bit of butter on it and it’s delicious!
