One of my favorite things do with my kids, is to play games. My daughters love playing all kinds of games, and so do I. I have always loved playing board games ever since I was little. I’m glad that I get to play them with my daughters now. It’s always such a fun time playing all these games with them. I try to make it a family night as much as possible. We do try to play games at least once a week, if not more. It’s always special spending time with your loved ones.
Blue Orange Games has a lot of great games for your family to play. I have a lot of games from them already. Three of the newest ones we received, were, Go Go Gelato!, Flying Kiwis, and Dr. Microbe. All three of these games were a lot of fun for my daughters and I. They were simple to learn how to play, which is always great for kids. We had so much fun with these, and we play them often. I love it when my kids want to play games because that means they’re not always around electronics and such. We can actually sit down and have fun together.
Go Go Gelato was probably are favorite game. Blue Orange Games makes some other games that have the same concept of this game, but completely different pieces and themes, so we knew what we were doing with this game. It was a bit trickier than some of the others we’ve played though.
Once a card is flipped over, everyone has to hurry to do exactly what the card says. The trick is that you can’t touch the balls (ice cream) with your hands. That means you have to move them into the cones without touching the balls. You have to transfer all the over with the cones, so no touching anything but the cones. It can be a bit tricky, but a lot of fun. The first person to do it, will get a point. Once you have it accomplished, you’ll want to yell “go go gelato” to get the point and card. The first person who reaches five points, will win.
Flying Kiwis is another super fun one! You’ll have pieces flying all over with this game. You have to fling the kiwi pieces in to the box and try to get four in a row. The first person to get four in a row is the winner.
This game is definitely a challenge. It’s not that easy trying to get the pieces in the box. It’s even harder trying to get four of them in a row. You can get four vertical, horizontal, diagonal or even like a square. My daughters and I had a lot of fun with this one. We had our pieces flying all over the house, and we loved it! It may not be the easiest to get the pieces where you want, but it’s certainly a ton of fun!
I would say Dr. Microbe is a bit more of a challenge. You have to think real quick with this game. There are a few different ways you can play this game. These three ways are called the purple virus, sabotage and combination. I think my daughters liked the purple virus one the most. They have a purple piece that’s called the virus, and you keep passing it along to other players, and whoever ends up with it at the end, loses.
This game can be a bit tricky at times. You have to place the correct pieces in the correct places in your dish. You have to match them up with the cards that are flipped over. The biggest challenge, is to find the missing piece. Whoever gets all the correct pieces in their dishes first will have to yell out the word “Eureka!” and that means they’ll win as long as they did everything correctly.
If you have kids that love playing games, I’d highly recommend Blue Orange Games. They have a great selection of games to choose from. I know your kids will be able to find games they’ll love! My daughters love playing all the games they’ve got from Blue Orange Games. We’ll continue to keep getting more too!

I’ve never heard of Blue Orange games before but they sound like fun! I bet my family would be hilarious playing Go Go Gelato. I like games that are more action oriented.

Go Go Gelato looks really cute. We don’t play games with the kids often. The kids are 5 and 12 so the only games we really play are Hungry Hungry Hippo and Trouble.
