I absolutely love the Hallmark Channel. They have so many great shows and I’m never disappointed with them. Christmas movies have always been a favorite of mine. The Hallmark Channel always has some great Christmas movies going on. Now is the perfect time to see them all since the holidays are appropriating quickly.
I was offered four Hallmark Christmas movies to review on DVD. I was very thrilled to be able to review this since I love Christmas movies. The titles of these movies are The Nine Lives of Christmas, A Cookie Cutter Christmas, A Royal Christmas and Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas.
The Nine Lives of Christmas:
Zachary is a fireman who enjoys being single. He doesn’t want to be tied down and get married. When a stray cat comes along, he doesn’t want the responsibility, but he lets the cat stay with him for a while til he tries to find a new home for him. Eventually he falls in love with the cat even though he doesn’t want the responsibility of taking care of anyone.
This cat brings him in contact with Merilee White, a veterinary student. She has a cat of her own and she helps teach Zachary how to take care of the stray cat. Merilee isn’t suppose to have pets where she lives, so she has to be very careful that nobody knows she’s got a cat.
Zachary does have “girlfriend” who he isn’t really committed to, as he doesn’t ever want to get married. Since Merilee and the cat come along, things start to change. Do you think Zachary will be able to settle down with someone? You’ll have to check out this movie to see what happens in the end.
A Cookie Cutter Christmas:
Penny and Christie were great friends back in elementary school until they both had a part they were to sing and they practically fought about it. Ever since that day they were no longer friends and they were always trying to be the best at everything. They both are now elementary teachers
When it gets closer to the holidays a hansom, widowed father of one of Christie’s students becomes part of the festivities around the school. Both teachers decide to compete in a holiday bake-off. Christie is not a good baking/cook, so she’ll have to learn how to cook/bake so that she can try to win the bake-off. Both of the girls are also interested in the single dad. The heat between the two becomes very intense.
The winner of the bake-off will get a prize of a trip for their class. One of the main reasons Christie wants to win the bake-off is because she really wants to bring her class on a trip, but she also wants to beat Penny in the bake-off. Who do you think will win in this bake-off? You’ll have to watch this movie to find out more.
Signed, Sealed, Delivered For Christmas:
Shane, Oliver, Norman and Rita all work together in the Dead Letter Office. Their job is to answer letters send in by children to Santa. They always make sure to answer every single letter they receive.
They’re very touched when they receive a letter address: Dear God. Normally they only answer letters that are to Santa, but this one really touched them. A young girl wrote the letter because she just wants her mother to come home from the hospital for Christmas.
They’ll try to attempt this last-minute delivery before Christmas. They will learn a lot throughout this delivery. They’ll learn the joys of the holidays, the gift of giving and even the gift of a family’s love. Will they get this last-minute delivery out on time? You’ll have to watch this one to find out more.
A Royal Christmas:
Emily and Leo have been a couple for a while. Emily is a seamstress in Philadelphia and Leo doesn’t have a job, or so she thought. Leo proposes and reveals he’s actually a prince. Things all start to change when he brings Emily home to meet his mother and all of the royalty.
When Leo brings Emily home, his mother is not happy because he didn’t ask for her blessing and Emily isn’t of royalty. His mother, Isadora, always wanted him to marry someone who was of royalty as well. She’ll want to do everything she can to drive them a part.
Isadora invites Leo’s former girlfriends to the palace’s Christmas Eve ball. Emily is going to have to prove that she is really the one who belongs with Leo. Will Isadora succeed at keeping them apart? You’ll have to watch to find out.
If you love Hallmark movies or even Christmas movies, make sure to check these all out. They’re great movies and I’d definitely love to watch them again.
