Harry Potter Games

24 September, 2018 by KatBp 40 Comments

My family and I love to play games. Ever since I was little, I have always loved all kinds of games. Our house was always full of games to choose from. My family, friends and I were never bored when we had games around. I can remember we played them just about every day when I was little. Now that I have kids of my own, I get to share the love of games with them. They sure love it too, so that’s what makes it so great. We get to play games just about every day just like I did with my family and friends when I was younger. It’s something that I love doing with my family. It really brings everyone together. Family game nights are always the best with family.

I have also loved Harry Potter for as long as I can remember. When all the books and movies first came out, I was always there to read them and watch the movies. Still to this day I love Harry Potter. I have been trying to get my children in to Harry Potter as well. They’re around the age where it’s going to be great being able to sit down and enjoy the movies with them. There are even some games with Harry Potter too. I received a couple of games from Pressman, and they are Magical Beasts and Triwizard Maze.

My daughters and I loved playing the Triwizard Maze because we love these pop it games where you get to pop the middle to roll the dice. It’s always been a favorite of ours. This game is a bit different from the normal way you play these games though. This one has cards with it that you get to pick if you land on one of the draw spaces. They all have different sayings, and sometimes you may lose a turn, sometimes you may get another turn. It’s definitely more of a challenge with these cards, but I love it this way.

Muggles and wizards alike will be enchanted by this magical game! It features fast-action Pop’N’Race play as you race around the Tri-Wizard Maze trying to capture the Tri-Wizard Cup! Beware! There are traps along the way that may hurt – or help your journey throughout the maze. For 2 to 4 players, ages 5 and up.

Game Contents:

  • Plastic Popper game board with enclosed die
  • 16 Movers
  • 48 Maze Cards
  • Complete Instructions

The Harry Potter Magical Beasts game was a very different game. We really liked this one though. It has a couple different sides to the board that you’re able to choose from. Decide which side you’d like to play on before starting the game. It took us a little bit of time to get use to this game and know what we were doing, but now that we do, it’s a lot of fun. It’s certainly something different for the whole family to enjoy.

Calling all Wizards! Magical beasts have broken loose at Hogwarts. That means you and up to three friends need to save everyone by recapturing these fantastic creatures run amok. In this action-packed game, you play as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, or Ginny Weasley. Collect clues to track down creatures both inside and outside Hogwarts! Watch out though, moving from Hogwarts to the grounds nearby can be treacherous and cost you clues and precious time. The dynamic swinging game board adds excitement that leads to hours of fun. Lumos! For 2 to 4 players, ages 8 and up.

Game Contents:

  • Swinging Game Board
  • 4 Mover Tokens
  • 72 Beast Clue Cards
  • 4 Ministry of Magic grids
  • Die
  • Complete Instructions

If you love games and Harry Potter as much as I do, I’d highly recommend these games. My family had a lot of fun playing them, and can’t wait to continue to keep playing. Family game night is something we enjoy doing as a family, and will continue to do it always. These Harry Potter games have been a great addition to our game nights!

Do you enjoy playing games with your family?
