Jennie-O Oven Ready Turkey

13 November, 2017 by KatBp 74 Comments

Disclosure: I’m part of the Jennie-O Switch Circle Blogger Program. I was not compensated for this post but I did receive the turkey for the post. All opinions are 100% my own and may differ from yours.

As many of you already know, I’m on the Jennie-O Switch Circle program. A few times a year they’ll send me some of their products. Since it’s getting closer to Thanksgiving, I was sent one of their oven ready turkeys. I have had these before, and they’re amazing. Nobody makes turkey better than Jennie-O, but that’s just my opinion. Their turkey is always so tender and juicy. It’s amazing!

What I love about this turkey, is that it’s oven ready even if it’s frozen. I took mine out of the freezer and put it right in the oven. It was the perfect size for my family as well. We’re a family of four, and it was great for all of us. It does have a bag around it that you’ll want to just put a few 1/2 inch slits in while it cooks. It even says “this side up” so you know which way to cook the turkey.

This turkey didn’t take that long to cook either. I’d say about two hours and it was already finished. I love how simple it is to cook it. This is so much easier than regular turkeys that have to be thawed before cooked. They take so long to get ready. It’s nice to have turkey that can be put right in the oven. It tastes so much better too! If you haven’t tried Jennie-O turkey yet, you must. I have always opted for Jennie-O products before any others. I love that their products are healthy, and it’s great that the taste is amazing too.

It was delicious as I expected. I have always loved Jennie-O products and I have never been disappointed with them. This turkey certainly didn’t disappoint either. It always surprises me how tender and juicy the turkey really is. It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had. I’m so glad they can make their products healthy and delicious.

It also came with a packet of gravy. All I had to do with that, was to thaw it out. Than I put it in a pan with some water to heat it up til it was thick and bubbly. The gravy was great with the turkey. It paired up perfectly! I thought it was so good.

If you haven’t picked up your turkey for Thanksgiving yet, make Jennie-O your choice. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. It’s all I could ever want for turkey. I already picked up a Jennie-O turkey for Thanksgiving and I’m looking forward to cooking it up and having it with my family. My family loves Jennie-O turkey as well, so I know they’re going to be happy with my choice.

How many of you have ever had a Jennie-O turkey?

This is a great idea for those nights that you can’t figure out what you want to make. It’s easy to do and you could do even turkey sliders with it. I didn’t even know they had a ready turkey.
