Krave Jerky Review/Giveaway (7/25-8/8)

I have personally never tried this jerky before but I’m sure it’s good. I love jerky so just about any would probably be good to me. Good luck to everyone in the giveaway.

I was sent a 5 pack sampler of some of Krave Jerky’s best flavors. I received Sweet Chipotle, Smokey Grilled Teriyaki, Garlic Chili Pepper, Pineapple Orange, and Lemon Garlic. The first thing I really noticed about being different then other jerky’s aside from the great variety of flavors was the softness of the jerky. I am so used to almost rip your teeth out toughness so the texture and feel of this jerky was something completely new to me that I had never experienced before.  I am not gonna lie at first it was a little weird and I wasn’t sure if I liked it but after eating a few pieces I realized that the softness was much more appealing to me than other jerky’s I had tried before.  I tried the Pineapple Orange first because I am all about trying things out of the normal. Once again I was a little weirded out at thinking what a fruity beef jerky would taste like but I have to say it did not disappoint it was actually one of my favorite flavors out of the entire sampler. My favorite of all of them hands down no question would have to be the Smokey Grilled Tereyaki. Never before have I ever tasted Pork jerky that actually had the smoke flavor so packed into the meat that you could smell it the second you opened the bag. My only issue with it was there wasn’t enough jerky in the bag I wanted more after it was gone. I also enjoyed the Lemon Garlic it was really tasty too. I am not much of a hot person so I gave the two hotter ones the Sweet Chipotle and the Garlic Chili Pepper to my husband as that is his area of expertiece. He said both tasted great and had a lot of flavor more so then most of the jerky’s he has ever had. I would recommend these jerky’s to anyone who is a jerky lover and who are into trying different things. I could not believe how moist and delicious this jerky is and I think this would be a great snack for anyone who loves meat treats.

 

While I got to try these awesome flavors they also have some other awesome flavors that I am dying to try! They have Beef, Pork, and Turkey jerky and it depends on which flavor you choose what kind of jerky you are getting. I was a little worried about trying the Turkey jerky but I have to say it tasted awesome and didn’t have a funky off taste or anything just tasted like awesome jerky! They also just came out with a brand new flavor called Black Cherry Barbecue Pork Jerky and I have to say I will be buying a bag just to taste it because just the name alone makes my mouth water.
