I was very excited that Everest Nutrition sent us a bottle of Krill Oil to try and review, as I have friends that swear by it and say they’re never going back to fish oil. For those of you that don’t know, krill oil is extracted from tiny crustaceans in the deep waters of the Antarctic. The benefits from this oil are astounding, as they help everything from the heart, to joints, lower your cholesterol levels, and are even proven to improve mood swings during a woman’s menstrual cycle.

For years a lot of people have been using fish oil to target these very same things, but the levels of omega 3 acids and DHA and EPA surpass most fish oils. I know that some people avoid fish oils because of the aftertaste and the “fish burps” that linger afterwards. Everest Nutrition’s Krill Oil is a great way to consume high levels of this nutrient powerhouse while getting around any unpleasant aftertaste.
