Letting Kids Express Themselves With Spa*rkle

My kids have always been very creative. I tell them that they can express themselves however they’d like. It’s part of who you are, and you should be able to express yourself. If that means they would like to have some color in their hair, then that’s fine with me. (as long as it’s temporary for now) They have always enjoyed being able to be colorful and creative. With the Spa*rkle kits by Bright Stripes, they can be as expressive as they want.

When these kits arrived, my daughters were so thrilled. They wanted to get started right away. We received the hair chalk pastels, dual-tip nail pens and the festive body art. We had a lot of fun together with all of these sets. It made for a great mother daughter day too. We love having days where we can all spend time together and do fun things like this.

My daughters love to color their hair. We always make sure to do temporary colors in their hair though. We love the washable hair chalk because it doesn’t last that long at all. They can have fun with their hair, and it washes out right away. They just need to wash their hair and the chalk with come out.

The hair chalk came with some great colors. They were all colors that my daughters love too. They especially loved using the purple and blue. Those showed up great in both of my daughters hair.

This is a great way for kids to express themselves with color. I use to love to color my hair when I was younger as well. Many kids have a lot of fun with colors, so this is a simpler way of doing it. It’s so easy to use too. All you have to do is take some of your hair and apply the chalk marker to it. I like to use paper or paper towels to put the hair on first. Then I take the chalk markers and start coloring the hair. It seems to be a lot easier this way for us.

My daughters also love doing their nails. This was a great set for them. They were able to use these nail pens to create art on their nails. It was very easy to use too. The kids loved how easy they were to apply. These pens are dual tips, so they do more than one thing.

The nail polish was so simple to apply. I really liked that it was longer than most nail polish too. That made it easier for my daughters to be able to apply it on themselves. They did such a wonderful job too. The colors were very bright and beautiful as well. Many others have been complimenting them on their beautiful nails too. 

You can also use the stickers they came with to make fun designs on your nails. My daughters loved to use those so that they could design their nails the way they’d like. The pen part made it easier to help them make those designs. Using the pen is simple because it comes out through a small hole. That way they can use this to fill in those stickers or do whatever they’d like. It won’t come out quickly either, which is great. They even did some of their very own designs too. 

The festive body art kit was both of my daughters favorite kit. They had a lot of fun with this one. I’m sure they used all the stencil stickers by now too. I know they’ll be using this kit over and over again. They have already been talking about which ones they want to do next. I was very impressed with this kit too. It was a blast doing this with my daughters. 

They did such a wonderful job with their body art. Tesla (my youngest) loves art the most, and she did such an amazing job. She loves all kinds of art, and is a very good artist. The colors were so beautiful too. Everyone was very happy with the way their art came out. I was very surprised myself with all the wonderful colors and how well they all worked. 

I even got in on this one. The feather is the one I chose. It was a lot of fun, and I love the way it turned out. My daughters are going to be doing more of these real soon, and they want to do them on other people too. A friend of mine is going to be doing them with my daughters soon too. They’re very excited for that.

The stencil stickers make the body art very simple to do. You just have to pick your colors and color in the stencils. Then you can use some of the gems to put on their as well if you’d like. There is also shimmer cream that you can use to make them sparkle more. That will give it more of a glittery look.

These kits are so wonderful. My kids have been having a blast being creative with themselves. They especially loved the body art, but had so much fun with everything. Being able to express yourself is something I highly encourage in my kids. These kits have been able to help them let the creativity flow. I hope that they’re able to help others kids become creative and expressive as well.
