Have you ever seen the show The Magic School Bus? I use to watch this show when I was a kid. It was one of my favorite shows to watch with all my friends. Now that I have my own kids, I love to let them watch the show as well. I’m very happy that they really enjoy the show as much as I did.

I was recently provided with The Magic School Bus season one to review. This movie comes with two discs. The episodes include:

Disc 1:

  • Gets Lost in Space
  • For Lunch
  • Inside Ralphie
  • Gets Eaten
  • Hops Home
  • Meets the Rot Squad
  • All Dried Up

Disc 2:

  • In the Haunted House
  • Gets Read, Set, Dough
  • Plays Ball
  • Goes to Seed
  • Gets Ants in its Pants
  • Kicks Up a Storm

You’ll be able to explore a lot in this movie with Ms. Frizzle. You’ll learn a lot about science in these episodes, in fact The Magic School Bus has a lot to do with science. I’ve loved how my children can always learn from these episodes. We’ve been watching a lot of them and they just love them!

Ms. Frizzle will take you on many adventures in the school bus. She’s got a pet lizard named Liz that always travels with them as well as her students, Phoebe, Keesha, Ralphie, Janet, Wanda, Dorthy, Arnold, Tim and Carlos.  You’ll never know what’s going to happen when you’re on the bus with Ms. Frizzle.

The bus can transform in to anything as well as the children and Ms. Frizzle. In the episode “Goes to Seed” Ms. Frizzle and her class will hang on inside the bus as they travel on a seed. In the episode “Hops Home” Wanda’s best friend, Bella the bullfrog goes missing. They figure the best way to find a frog is to be a frog. That means they’ll all shrink to the size of frogs.

As you can see, this is a wonderful dvd series for children to learn all about science. My daughters have learned a lot from watching this show. I’m very happy that my daughters get to learn and enjoy the show.
