Movie #21 is Oliver & Company

16 December, 2024 by KatBp 16 Comments

If you have been following along my movie journey, you’ll know that my daughters and I are watching movies from a list I made. You can check that list out HERE if you’d like. There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.

About Oliver & Company

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of a Disney classic with the stunning Blu-ray debut of Oliver And Company, featuring perfect picture and sound. Relive this charming animated adventure, packed with excitement, fun and unforgettable songs by Billy Joel, Bette Midler and Huey Lewis. In the heart of New York City, Oliver, a mischievous orphaned kitten, is befriended by Dodger, a carefree pooch and his ragtag family of misfit mutts. Life gets even better for Oliver when he is adopted by a lonely little girl named Jenny. But when tough guy Sykes and his Doberman sidekicks try to keep Jenny and Oliver apart, the spirited kitten and his newfound friends discover the meaning of courage and find a home where they truly belong.

I believe I did see Oliver & Company when I was a kid. This one was a bit hard on trying to figure out what we could make for a charcuterie board. We decided to just do a cookie board for this one. I don’t know if it really tied in to the movie or not, but we tried our best. Sometimes we just go with the color theme of the movie if there seems to be one. That’s about what we had to do with this movie. The cookies were good too, so that was a plus.

I thought this was a good movie. Once I started watching it, I could definitely remember certain parts of the movie, so I’m sure I did see this one when I was a kid. It’s still a great movie, and I would recommend this to anyone, especially those with younger kids. My daughters seemed to have liked this movie as well. It sure is a good one about cats and dogs. You’ve got to check it out if you haven’t already seen it.
Have you ever seen this movie before? I would say this one is worth the watch. Even though I’ve seen it before, I still enjoyed watching it with my daughters. You can always grab your very own copy off AMAZON as well.

I have never heard of this movie, but I’m sure I would enjoy it because I love dogs and cats! Your cookie charcuterie board looks really delicious!

I don’t remember seeing this movie yet. I’m visiting my daughter in two weeks, maybe we can watch it on Netflix or something.

I haven’t seen one, and it would be fun to watch some older Disney movies. Looks like such a cute movie! I’m a cat lover so this sounds like fun.
