Movie #29 is Little Giants

If you have been following along my movie journey, you’ll know that my daughters and I are watching movies from a list I made. You can check that list out HERE if you’d like. There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.

About Little Giants

Urbania, Ohio is home to the O’Shea brothers, Danny (Rick Moranis) and Kevin (Ed O’Neill). Ex-football star Kevin’s name is on the town water tower. The phonebook is about the only place you’ll find Danny’s name. Year after year, his brother’s successes loom over Danny like that water tower. But when Coach Kevin cuts Danny’s child, “Icebox,” from the Pee-Wee Football team, Danny isn’t taking it anymore. Suit up for this warmly funny tale of brotherly love on trial and fatherly love in action. Unfairly axed, Becky “Icebox” O’Shea (Shawna Waldron) organizes her misfit pals into a rival squad and recruits a coach: good ol’ Dad! Will these Little Giants pull off a gridiron miracle? This comic crowd-pleaser proves heroes come in all sizes!

I always thought Little Giants was such a great movie. I’m glad I got to share this one with my daughters. I always try to find some of the best snack ideas to go along with the movie, and this time I tried to go with some of the snacks that I remember them eating in this movie. We did the best we could. There was always this scene in the movie where they go to the grocery store and eat snacks, so I kind of based it off those that I could remember them grabbing and eating.

I wasn’t to sure on if my daughters were going to love this one or not. Thankfully, they did enjoy seeing this one. This movie is about a bunch of kids making their own football team. It is a movie about sports, but in a fun way. These kids are hilarious too. A very funny movie with a lot of heartfelt moments as well.

Have you ever seen this movie before? I don’t think it was to well known, so if you haven’t seen this one yet, I wouldn’t be surprised. It’s a really good one though. If you have a family, it would be a great family movie to see together. You can even grab it off AMAZON if you want.

I used to watch this movie all the time as a kid! I had a mad crush on Devon Sawa. I watched it again a few years ago with my kids and they liked it.

I haven’t seen this movie before, but it looks fun. We’re also watching older movies at the moment. Currently, we’re watching movies starring Harrison Ford!

Awww! This is so cute! I like looking back things I enjoyed as a child, especially to see how my taste has changed now that I’m older! lol. My favorite activity to do with my family is watching movies and tv shows! One show I loved watching with my family was The Walking Dead! It was so fun to watch with my family because of the intense moments of the show! After each episode we enjoyed discussing them! It was a great way to bond! Thankyou fir this post!

I haven’t seen it. I wouldn’t mind seeing it though. We love family movie nights (usually on Fridays for us so we don’t mess up football). 😉 I do like Rick Moranis.
