Movie #4 is The Brave Little Toaster

If you have been following along my movie journey, you’ll know that my daughters and I are watching movies from a list I made. You can check that list out HERE if you’d like. There are a ton of movies on this list that I plan to watch with my daughters. These were movies I watched growing up, so I want them to experience these movies as well. We all sit down as a family each week and pick out a movie. We don’t always get to watch one a week, but we try.

About The Brave Little Toaster

THE BRAVE LITTLE TOASTER is the award-winning animated tale of friendship, loyalty, and courage that has become a huge favorite with young and old alike! Five electrical appliances suddenly feel dumped when their young master mysteriously disappears! The dejected toaster rounds up the vacuum cleaner, electric blanket, and bedside lamp and radio, and together, they set off for the big city in search of their beloved owner! Featuring the voices of “Saturday Night Live’s” Phil Hartman and Jon Lovitz, and catchy original songs — you’re on the high road to a humorous and heartwarming adventure you’ll never forget.|A fantasy about five aging appliances who come to life and go in search of their missing master, from the novella by Thomas M. Disch.

If you have been following along, then you already know we make snacks to go along with each movie. We decided on a breakfast board for this one. Since some of the characters in this movie are kitchen items, we thought maybe a breakfast would be good. The toaster is a main character, and usually you toast items, like toast or waffles even. I remember a blender at one point as well, so we did smoothies. We just thought this would be best doing a breakfast board.

The Brave Little Toaster was always a favorite of mine when I was a kid. I remember watching this one often. My daughters have seen parts of this movie, so I wanted them to be able to actually see the whole movie. This was a great one for us. I’m so glad my daughters were able to watch this one with me. This one brings back a lot of memories. This was one I remember seeing with my siblings, so there were many great memories for me.

I would certainly recommend this movie, especially if you haven’t seen it yet. If you have kids who haven’t seen it, I’d recommend having them see it as well. It could be a great family movie night for you as well. If you enjoy the movie, you can always get it off AMAZON too.

That breakfast board is fantastic, I love that it makes the meal feel snack-ish. The Brave Little Toaster really takes me back, watching it so many times with my kids it still makes me hesitate to get rid of old items.

I absolutely love your movie journey with your daughters! It sounds like such a heartwarming tradition, picking out films together and enjoying them as a family. The idea of pairing snacks with each movie is genius, and a breakfast board for “The Brave Little Toaster” fits so perfectly with the theme of the movie. It’s lovely how you draw connections between the characters in the film and the snacks you prepare, like the toast and smoothies.

“The Brave Little Toaster” holds a special place in my heart as well. It’s such a timeless tale of friendship and adventure, and it’s wonderful that you’re passing down this classic to your daughters. Watching movies from your own childhood with your kids must be such a nostalgic and fulfilling experience, creating new memories while reliving the old ones.

Your recommendation of the movie is spot on. It’s definitely a must-watch for families, filled with humor, heart, and unforgettable characters. And thanks for mentioning that it’s available on Amazon – makes it easy for anyone interested to find and enjoy!

Keep up the fantastic tradition of family movie nights and snack pairings. It sounds like you’re creating cherished memories that your daughters will carry with them for a lifetime.
