I’m a huge chocolate fan. How about you, do you love chocolate? I love to have a piece of chocolate every now and then. It’s nice because it tastes so delicious. The great thing about chocolate is that there are so many kinds out there. Whether it’s peanut butter, orange, raspberry, mint or anything else, as long as it’s chocolate I’m usually all over it.
Marie Cavanaugh spent hours in her South Dakota farmhouse each Christmas season making pecan rolls and homemade chocolates for holiday gifting. It started when her aunt sent her pecan-rolls recipe and she mixed it up to make it her own. In 1972, the family moved to Utah, leaving good friends and their beloved cattle ranch. They were excited about their new adventure and decided to call it Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Candies.
I was sent some chocolate from Mrs. Cavanaugh’s Chocolates to review. I got a nice box of chocolates and some chocolate bars as well. The chocolate bars were Mindy Mint, Almond Coconut, Roasted Almond and Caramel.
I received a mixed box of some great chocolates. Some were milk chocolate and some were dark chocolate. I normally don’t like dark chocolate at all, but to my surprise I really enjoyed the dark chocolates that came in the box. I was in total shock that I actually loved them! I’m not one to enjoy dark chocolate ever, so that was a huge plus for me.
All of the chocolates were amazing. I have to say these were my favorite chocolates I’ve had yet. The caramel that came in this box was so good! That was one of my favorite pieces because it’s the best caramel I have had before. It’s not hard like some caramels, so it didn’t stick to my teeth, which is a plus. The chocolates with nuts inside as well as caramel inside were some of my favorites as well. I love white chocolate as well, so the white chocolate candy was very good too.

The dark and milk chocolate assortment; over the top delicious.
The dark and milk chocolate marshmallow with caramel were my favorite, absolutely fantastic.
I will be ordering these again.
