Newman’s Own® Organics introduces Ginger Snaps and Oatmeal
Chocolate Chip to its newly named “Family Recipe Cookies.”
“We’re delighted with the two new great tasting cookies,” says Nell Newman,
co-founder and president of Newman’s Own Organics. “Ginger Snaps were mentioned
often as a flavor our fans would like to see us make. The Snaps are made with
real candied ginger and are particularly tasty. We also heard from our customers
that an oatmeal chocolate chip would be a good addition. It was an excellent
suggestion.”
I have to say these cookies were so good. I couldn’t tell that they were made with organic products. These cookies just melted in your mouth. I was in heaven with the Chocolate Chip cookies
“When I was a kid I loved licorice because it was so much fun to eat. I loved
the chewy texture, and you could stretch it and tie it in knots, or bite off the
ends and blow through it”, said Nell Newman, co-founder and president of
Newman’s Own Organics. “Now I can enjoy our own tasty organic version of my
favorite childhood candy! It’s also a great treat for the movies, as it’s much
quieter to eat than popcorn,” The five ounce package is great for keeping in
your desk at work, having as a snack at home, in your car while doing errands,
or out hiking. The smaller package is also a good economic choice. Health
conscious consumers will appreciate that the rich tasting candy is low in fat,
sodium and cholesterol free, and contains no trans-fat.
My son loved the licorice we got. He loved both the regular and sour flavors. The best he said was the Strawberry and the sour Apple. He didn’t care for the Black licorice but I don’t like it either. I was very please with all the flavors we got to try.

Nell Newman loves chocolate and can’t go too long without dreaming up a new
use for it. This time it’s Newman-O’s, a delicious addition to Newman’s Own

My husband loved these and he ate the Original & Chocolate with a glass of milk. He didn’t have any complaints other than he wish there were more to eat lol
