Noah’s Ark Water Park Review

Have you ever been to a water park before? I’ve been to a few but not very many. It has probably been at least ten years since I have been to a water park. I love being in the water, so water parks are definitely a must for me. My husband and kids have never been to an actual water park before so when I was offered the chance to review Noah’s Ark Water Park I just knew I had to go.

Noah’s Ark Water Park is in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It’s the largest water park in the United States. There are about fifty-one water slides and a lot of different attractions.

My kids were so excited to go to the water park. They kept talking about it for days. When it finally came to the day we were going to Noah’s Ark, you could only imagine how excited my daughters were. Once we arrived I could tell how excited everyone was. My daughters were so excited to see all the water slides they had and couldn’t stop talking about everything. I could just hear all the excitement in their voices when they talked.

Right when we got there you could see the Big Kahuna. This is a giant pool with waves often called a wave pool. My youngest daughter took no time and wanted to go here right away. We’ve all been in one of these pools before so my daughters were very excited that they had one at Noah’s Ark. Both of my daughters had so much fun here. I think this is one of their favorites because of the waves. When the waves hit they start getting all excited and laughing and playing around. The Big Kahuna actually has a lot stronger waves then most pools like this would.

Dark Voyage was the very first tube rides we went on. My husband, I and the kids were able to go on this ride. The line was actually very short so we were excited about that. We didn’t have to wait in a long line and it was our turn before you knew it. This water slide is actually dark on the inside so you can’t see where you’re going. I’m actually really surprised that my kids didn’t even scream. They had so much fun though. I was glad they were able to go on this ride. I’ve always loved water slides where they’re dark inside and you can’t see anything.

Tadpole bay was probably the best area for the kids. They had so much they could do here. They had water slides and a lot of fun water activities for the kids to play around with. One really neat thing about this area was that they had an 8 foot bucket of water that would dump out every few minutes. As you can see in the one photo above, my husband took my youngest daughter and they stood under the bucket as it tipped over and dumped out all the water it had collected.

They had this neat little area for younger kids to play. This was a smaller pool for the younger kids to play in and had some fun activities as well. My daughters were enjoying the horses they had that would rock back and forth. They kept wanting to go back towards this area so they could play on the horses. I’d say they had a great time over here. It was also nice for my husband and I so we could just relax and watch the girls have fun.

The Flash Flood actually let all of us on the ride. I didn’t think my daughters would be able to go on this ride but to my surprise they actually were able to. I’ve been on a ride like this before but I’ve never been on the Flash Flood at Noah’s Ark. I was more excited to see how my daughters would react to this ride. I thought going downhill and getting splashed with water might scare them, but they actually loved it. After you get off you can actually stand on the bridge and get splashed with even more water. My daughters and I didn’t want to stand on the bride but my husband did and he loved it. I think my daughters were a bit to cold at that point to want to get any wetter.

Overall we all had a great time. I think this is a great place for families. They had a lot of rides I didn’t think my daughters could ride but they were able to. A lot of other amusement places I’ve been to wouldn’t allow our kids to go on many rides because of their height. Noah’s Ark actually had a lot of rides that my daughters were able to go on.
