Have you recently been trying to lose weight or just be a healthier person? I have always tried to stay healthy and fit. It may not be that easy, but I know I have to do it, especially for my kids. I want them to be able to see what I’m doing or eating so that they will follow my example. A lot of you may not like eating fruits and vegetables, so there is a great solution for you. It’s called the NutriBullet.

I received the NutriBullet Pro 900 Series for review. I’m guessing that most of you have heard of the NutriBullet before. The NutriBullet doesn’t blend or juice your foods, it actually extracts your food. You’ll be ingesting food in its most absorptive state. Even if you have a weak digestive system, you’ll be able to absorb and utilize the nutrition from the NutriBullet.

IMG_2791

There are certain foods that I just won’t eat because I don’t like them. I’ve taken those foods and put them in the NutriBullet, and I really love them! Some of them you won’t even be able to tell that you used them. I’ve used spinach and kale before, and I can’t taste much of them in my drinks. I think it’s great because I normally wouldn’t eat those with anything, but the NutriBullet lets me get all my nutrition and it tastes great! If I saw a green drink before ever trying the NutriBullet, I would have never tried it. Now that I’ve tried green drinks with the NutriBullet, I’d love to try any drinks and no matter what the color looks like, I’ll still try it. The colors use to always throw me off, but not anymore.

When you use the NutriBullet, it’s best to do 50% leafy greens and 50% fruit or vegetables. Of course you don’t have to do that if you don’t want to, but it’s recommended. You can even put any variety of nuts in to get some more protein. Then you’ll want to fill it up with water to the max line. I’ve tried drinks with vegetables, fruit, leafy greens, water and nuts and it’s delicious! You wouldn’t think that would sound very good but it actually is.

My youngest daughter, Tesla wanted to make a fruit smoothie, so we used just fruit with this. We had some frozen fruit in our freezer so I grabbed what I had and she wanted to use all of them. We put some blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and mango in the cup.

IMG_2796

Next we added some apple juice. Normally we add water but we went with juice this time. You can add your water or juice up to the max fill line. We like to add it about half way and then keep adding water as we go. This way we know it’s not going to get to runny. We love our smoothies a little thicker, so we want to make sure we don’t add to much water/juice.

Next we put the cup on the bullet and twisted it on so it would start-up. That’s all you have to do to get it to work, set it on the bullet and twist it and it starts up. This product has so much power that it took less than 5 seconds to get everything blended. I couldn’t believe how quick it was. It’s amazing! We’ve tried other drinks that take more than 5 seconds, but  it can cut up everything so fast and it does a great job of it too. This is by far my favorite product out there.

The NutriBullet also came with some great books. You’ll get a lot of information from these, especially the recipes. They have so many great recipes for everyone to enjoy. My favorite recipe book is the NutriBullet Life Changing Recipes. Everyone will be able to find a great recipe with this book. Some of the recipes they have are ones for cancer prevention, weight loss, diabetes, blood sugar stabilizing and so much more. I’m so excited to try out more of these recipes. I think it’s going to help me keep a healthier lifestyle.

I usually just use my blender to make my smoothies. Yea, it so doesn’t actually blend the spinach when I add it, LOL. Perhaps this would actually be a good investment!

I want one of these so bad. I know it’s just $100-125 but it’s a luxury item not budgeted. I’d use it daily for my post workout shake of chocolate protein, bananas, kale, strawberries.

I would make a peanut butter banana or peanut butter chocolate smoothie. I would als like to try the green smoothies just to see if you can tell the spinach is in there or not.
