Are you getting ready for Halloween yet? I’ve got my daughters costumes all ready for them to go trick or treating. They are both getting very excited to go. They talk about it every day. Unfortunately where we live nobody ever wants to come to our place for candy. I guess that means we won’t be buying any candy this year. If you hand out candy for Halloween, have you ever thought about giving a treat to dogs that go along with kids? I have seen some kids walking around with a dog when they go trick or treating. Wouldn’t it be nice to have something for the dogs too? I think that would be a wonderful idea. I’ve had the chance to review the Old Mother Hubbard and Wellness dog treats. Our dogs love to eat anything especially dog treats. We have three outdoor dogs and I gave each of them one of the dog biscuits. They had those eaten within seconds. They absolutely loved them. I gave our smaller indoor dogs the Wellness chicken & lamb jerky treats. They really loved them and had eaten them up very fast as well. I decided to take the treats outside because we have a lot of outdoor cats. I couldn’t believe how fast all the cats ran up to me and tried to get to the dog treats. I figured I might as well let the cats try these jerky treats too. To my surprise, they ate them too. This would be something I’d buy the cats even though there meant for dogs. They really loved them and wouldn’t stop climbing all over me to get to the treats.
Why not buy some of the Old Mother Hubbard and Wellness dog treats for Halloween this year. Wouldn’t it be great to give a dog something to look forward to as well? I think this would be a great idea. If I knew kids would actually come to our door to trick or treat, I would keep some of these dog treats on hand as well. Dogs should deserve a treat as well, especially if there dressed up in a costume.
