One Piece Review

When it comes to bed time I’m always looking for the best comfortable pajamas. I don’t really mind if they’re not stylish but it’s always a plus if they are. Normally I just wear pajama pants and a shirt. Sometimes I even take my husbands shirts and wear them to bed because I think they’re much more comfortable. Luckily One Piece has some amazing jumpsuits that are perfect for wearing to bed.

One Piece had started by three Norwegians in their twenties who fantasized about the ultimate chill-out wear that would be perfect for a lazy day at home. Once they actually came up with the idea they started selling to friends and marketed it to high-school seniors in Norway for two years. In autumn 2009, some bloggers wrote about how much they loved the OnePiece, which triggered other bloggers to rant about how much they hated it. Fuelled by massive debate in social media, the OnePiece Jump in became a huge trend in Scandinavia in 2010, and is now catching on in England and other European countries. Now they’re sold all over and you have seen them yourself or possibly own one too.

I was offered a chance to review one of the pieces from One Piece. I did have a hard time choosing because I thought they had a lot of great designs and I loved the colors. I wanted a purple one at first but the design I wanted in purple was out of stock for my size so I went with the same design but in green. I’m so happy that I chose green because I really do like the color and I thought it was perfect. The one I chose is called the Onesie College 69 Kelly Green.

There is a zipper in front that zips up all the way. I really love that it’s like a hoodie yet it’s a full suit. I have to say this suit is extremely comfortable. I’ve never had such a comfortable piece to wear to bed. I’m very glad I had the chance to try this out.

I love the look of the back of this jumpsuit as well. I thought it had a great design. It says One Piece Jump in with the number 69 on the back. Also this suit is made of 100% cotton. My youngest is only able to wear 100% cotton right now because she has eczema. Other materials can set it off and it could become very itchy. It’s always nice to have products made with just cotton. There are actually a total of four pockets on this suit. There are two pockets on the side and two on the front. I think they’re great for storing things or keeping your hands in when they get cold.

As you can see in the photo above, the zipper really does zip all the way up. I’m not sure why you would want to zip it up all the way since you really can’t see, but it does look a bit creepy. I do love this option though. It’s great to have a zipper zip all the way up to the top. If I ever get cold I can zip it all the way up to my face. It definitely gets hot once you zip it all the way up, so this is a great option.

Even my three-year old daughter loved this. I know it’s to big for her but she was having a lot of fun with it. My four-year old put it on but I never did get a photo of her and now she won’t let me take a picture. I would definitely like to get both of my daughters one of these too. I think they would really enjoy wearing them.
