Paris, France, July 7, 2021 — Developer Nerd Monkeys and Publisher Hatinh Interactive have announced that award-winning hand-drawn puzzle platformer Out of Line is now available on Switch. Inspired by Studio Ghibli, modern philosophy and impressionist art, the game is an enchanting children’s book brought to life. As players journey from one gorgeously illustrated set piece to the next and assist protagonist San on his search for identity, they’ll discover the value of freedom in the face of abject tyranny. Out of Line is also available for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG.com, Gamesplanet.com, Humble Store and Windows Store and will launch Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.

The Nintendo Switch version will be released in North America on August 18.

“Out of Line is an intelligent and poetic quest for identity told through a collection of interactive masterpieces,” says Francisco Santos, Lead Artist at Nerd Monkeys. “It pushes artistic innovation beyond pixels, inviting players to relax and reflect as they guide San toward liberty.”

Gameplay in Out of Line has been fully adapted to Nintendo’s Switch and revolves around San’s mysterious spear of light, which can be used as a springboard, lever, foothold, tether and more. Puzzles become increasingly complex toward later sections of the game, encouraging players to experiment and think outside the box in order to escape the Factory and reclaim San’s independence.

Key Features

• Enjoy dozens of visually impressive puzzles

• Learn to master the mechanics of the spear

• Interact with beautiful hand-drawn environments

• Learn from extraordinary characters

• Uncover the mystery surrounding San’s story

This game is such a fun one to play. My daughters and I enjoy this one a lot. These are the kinds of games that my family enjoys playing. The graphics are really amazing as well as the color. I was very excited about this game. I only recently heard about the game, but it really interested me, and I knew my daughters would love it as well. It’s one of those games that can get you hooked on playing for a while. I could probably play for hours if I wanted to.

If you love games with lots of adventure, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this one. It’s even got some puzzle and mystery to it. Lots of fun to be had with this game. There is a lot to do while playing the game, and I personally find this to be a fun family game. Everyone can enjoy playing the game. Continue on the journey throughout this game to help escape the factory.

This game has already been released on the Nintendo Switch, so make sure to get your own copy.
