Ozeri INSTAVAC Green Earth Food Storage Container Set Review

I don’t know about you, but I dislike some of the containers fruit come in. I hate the fact that grapes are in a bag and they never seal well so all the air is let in to them. The same goes with other fruits such as strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. They always come in those plastic containers with holes in them. I’d much rather keep them in some of my own containers at home to keep them staying fresh longer. Luckily there are these great storage containers made by Ozeri.

I was given the chance to review some of these containers. These are actually some of the nicest containers I have had. Ozeri makes a lot of different products from bathroom to kitchen products and more. They’re a specialty manufacturer of digital lifestyle products for the modern home. They have so many different products that I’m sure you’ll find at least one you’ll love.

I was given the eight piece food storage set. This came with four containers and four lids. These are the best storage containers I have had yet. Once you close the snap and seals on these containers you’ll be able to press down on the center of the lid. This will force air out through the one way valve. This way air won’t be trapped inside with your food. This makes for longer and fresher foods. This will also help keep bacteria out.

The snap n seals handles make opening and closing very easy. You’ll be able to hear them make a snap noise once they have been closed. I love the snap n seals because of the simple fact of hearing them snap. Sometimes with the storage containers I have they won’t make a noise and I’ll think they’re shut when they’re not. That can make for a huge mess when you think they were shut.

The release valve will help prevent spills and any kind of messes while in the microwave. They’re stain-resistant, shatter-proof and BPA-free. To release the vacuum you can pull the one way valve lever up and you’ll hear a whistling sound as the air goes back in. The vacuum indicator will pop up indicating the vacuum has been released.

I stored some carrots and strawberries in two of the containers I received. I think they work over very well. I love that they have the date dials on them as well. These will let you set the date on which your food was first stored. This way you can keep track of how long they have been in the fridge. That way you don’t really have to guess on whether the food is bad or not.

If you’re looking for some great storage containers then make sure to check out the Ozeri containers. They’re truly amazing and have helped me keep all of my foods fresh. I would definitely recommend these to anyone. You can order yours on Amazon today.

Disclosure: I received these products in exchange for a review. The opinions are all my own and may differ from yours.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
