My daughters and I love Patrick Star so much that we decided to make our own recipe to go along with the movie. We do love rice krispie treats, so we decided to make them in the shape of Patrick Star. These are actually very simple to make too.

Start out by making the rice krispies. I always go with the recipe on the back of the box. Once I start mixing in the butter and marshmallow, I then add in some pink coloring to get that color of Patrick. Since he’s a pink color, that’s what we went with for his color. You can add that right in and start mixing it up to get to the color you want.

Then you can start using your star cookie cutters to cut out the shapes for Patrick. I put out the rice krisipes on a cutting board and used the cookie cutters to cut out the shapes. I thought the cutting board would work easiest to flatten out the rice krispies and to get the shapes cut out easier.

Once you got them all cut out, you can use some candy eyes for his eyes. That’s about all there is to it. We wanted to make something simple, yet delicious. We all thought they turned out great, and we love them! They were perfect for Patrick’s new show!
