Valleyfair has a new event going on right now, and it’s the Peanuts Celebration! It is dedicated to celebrating the beloved Peanuts characters. My family sure loves Peanuts and the whole entire gang. We are so excited that Valleyfair decided to do an event with Peanuts. They opened this up on June 8th, and it will go til June 30th. There is not much time left, so you’ll have to head to Valleyfair to see all the fun!
There are so many characters all over the entire park. We found a lot decor with the Peanuts gang. We had to stop for some photos with some of them of course! My kids had fun with that. This event will feature special Peanuts inspired décor, new social media worthy comic strip photo ops, new character experiences, live shows, exclusive merchandise and deliciously themed treats to complete this whimsical celebration. You’ll have to come out to celebrate before they’re gone!
There are many areas around the park where you will get the chance to take some photos. You can step inside some of these comic strips yourselves and get some great photos! Check out Snoopy giving a big smak to my daughters. This one was so cute!
Another fun photo with the Peanuts gang and baseball! We all know how they love sports, so we had to take a photo with them here. This was right before we went in to the VIP area for more fun!
My daughters always get super excited when they get to be a part of the VIP. They love wearing their passes and seeing all the fun!
Once we entered the VIP room, they had some Peanuts food waiting for us to sample. We were able to try out Snoopy’s golf club sandwich. These were really delicious!
We also tried Charlie Brownies. They were made just to look like Charlie Brown’s shirt. These were so delicious too. I know my daughters loved these the most, but of course they love sweets!
While we were inside, they also brought in Snoopy! They had him come in so that all the kids could get photos with him if they wanted. I made sure to get one of my daughters with him.
They also brought out PigPen to get a photo with! He is one of my favorite Peanuts characters too! He is actually one of the newest characters added to the Valleyfair Peanuts gang, so I was really excited to hear that.
We also got to learn how to draw Snoopy and Charlie Brown! That was actually a lot of fun too. We all really enjoyed it. Surprisingly, they were both a lot easier to draw then I thought.
We even got a private performance from Jelly of the Month Club! I thought they were amazing! They had some great music and the songs were very catchy.
You can even meet some of PigPen’s barnyard animal friends! Right next to Pig Pen’s Pig Pen, are all his animal friends. You’ll be able to touch some of them and see some fun animals. We were able to see some bunnies, a pig and some goats!
You can sit down and enjoy some music from Sally, Schroeder, and Snoopy. They do a retrospective of music. This was called the music goes ’round and around. It was a lot of fun just watching them all perform with great music. Some were even having fun dancing along!
They also had Charlie Brown’s Hoedown! Here Charlie and his friends will put on a show about life on the farm. They’ll hoedown to some classic country jams, so make sure to sing and dance along!
If your kids love to sing and dance along to music, they can go to Franklin’s headphone hootenanny. Here you will be able to put on a set of headphones and listen to music. You’ll be able to dance and sing along to the music however you’d like.
Snoopy’s all-star stunt dogs were amazing! It was great just watching what they could do. These dogs are the world’s most athletic and talented dogs. They also feature Snoopy too! This was such a great show. I have never actually seen a show where the dogs are so talented before. I’ve seen them on t.v., just never seen them in person. That was a amazing experience!
If you have seen some of the Charlie Brown shows, then I’m sure you know about the kite-eating tree. They made one of these, and I thought it was a great touch. I love that they did this because it was a big part in Charlie Brown where the kite got stuck in the tree. Now they just put a bunch of kites in the tree to make it look like the kite-eating tree. I loved this!
Of course while you’re at Valleyfair, you can’t miss out on the rides. The North Star is one that we never miss out on while we are there. My youngest daughter Tesla loves this ride. It is her favorite ride there, so we always make sure to go on this one. It’s just like a giant swing that goes up about 230 feet and swings around 40mph. It’s always a blast!
When it’s hot out, we try not to miss out on some of the water rides. It’s a great way to have fun and keep cool. The wave is always a fun water ride to go on. This is a 20-passenger boat that lifts you up 50 feet above the river, and then you plunge back down a 50 degree drop at 40mph. A lot of fun if you don’t mind getting all wet!
While we were at Valleyfair, we mainly did a lot of water rides and stayed in the water park. It was a hot day, so that was fun for all of us. They have a lot of great water rides and a nice water park there, so if it’s a hot day, you can enjoy staying cool in their water park. That and enjoying the Peanuts Celebration! They had so much going on to enjoy there during the Peanuts celebration.
We had such a great time at Valleyfair with all the fun rides and being able to experience the Peanuts Celebration. The Peanuts Celebration only goes til June 30th, so make sure to head over to Valleyfair before they’re gone! Of course you can still experience all the great rides while you’re there.
I’ve always loved the Peanuts gang! My grandkids would love this celebration of all things Snoopy and the Peanuts characters. Looks like so much fun.

This would be a blast! We’ve always been a fan of Peanuts, so I know we’d all enjoy ourselves. Water rides are always a plus during the summer.

Who can resist the Peanuts? There’s something similar at Cedar Point (maybe they are a sister company to Valley Fair?) that my family loves going through every time we visit.

We have a local theme park that has Peanuts theme for the kids’ portion. It is fun. I loved Peanuts as a kid so it is nostalgic.

The girls are adorable and look like they had so much fun! We have Knott’s Berry Farm nearby which has a whole area dedicated to the Peanuts gang and Snoopy— this totally reminds me of the fun times there as a kid!
