With Memorial Day not too long ago, the majority of us are still thinking about our friends, family, and countrymen who are risking their lives for our freedom.
There are so many great people out there risking their lives for us. I’d like to thank each and every one of them for all that they have done and are doing. I have a lot of family and friends that have served and are serving for our country. I thank them all for all they have done for us.

It’s with this in mind that Dollar General chose Sparky Edwards, a retired and decorated military veteran, as its Every Day Hero for June 2013. Sparky, who was once an at-risk teen, changed his life thanks to the National Guard youth academy. He earned his GED, entered the military, and now is a successful business owner, pursuing his PhD, and volunteers by mentoring at-risk teenagers.

My neighbor is a hero even though she is a older lady and not in really good health she still volinteers at our local homeless shelter and cooks for them.
I would pick my boyfriend as my everyday hero
I would like to nominate all of the men and woman who work for CPS. They see so much bad stuff everyday and yet are so powerless to do much about it.
My everyday hero is my mother. She is a strong person and does so much for others without ever thinking of herself. I aspire to have the characteristics she has for positivity.
My Mom is My everyday hero. She is always there when I need here.
My hubby is a military hero and my personal hero.
My sister and my friend Marie are my heroes. They are both breast cancer survivors.
My husband who is a SSG in the Army. Currently on his 5th deployment.
