With Memorial Day not too long ago, the majority of us are still thinking about our friends, family, and countrymen who are risking their lives for our freedom.
There are so many great people out there risking their lives for us. I’d like to thank each and every one of them for all that they have done and are doing. I have a lot of family and friends that have served and are serving for our country. I thank them all for all they have done for us.
P&G and Dollar General are also thinking about these servicemen and women. It’s with this in mind that Dollar General chose Sparky Edwards, a retired and decorated military veteran, as its Every Day Hero for June 2013. Sparky, who was once an at-risk teen, changed his life thanks to the National Guard youth academy. He earned his GED, entered the military, and now is a successful business owner, pursuing his PhD, and volunteers by mentoring at-risk teenagers.
Speaking of Dollar General, did you know you can use coupons there? Pair the P&G coupons from Sunday’s paper with the prices at Dollar General for a great deal.
