My Mother-in-Law has been absolutely amazing in every way and I really wanted to do something special for her for Mother’s Day. She is very sentimental and does all kinds of scrap books and picture books, so I thought this amazing locket would be perfect for her!
Recently, we had the chance to review one of the amazing lockets from PicturesOnGold. By using the special Build Your Own Locket technique on the website, you can create a locket that is personalized just for you!
When creating your locket you can easily choose and create a piece that is one of a kind for the mother on your gift list this year. First, you select exactly what you want on the front of your locket, which can be clip art, a picture or even text that your create. I chose the chic and sophisticated “Mom” clip art with scroll for my Mother-in-Law. Next, you can create the left and right sides of the inner locket. I wanted to utilize every space on the locket so we did a small quote on the left side saying “We love you Momma! -Jerm & Jeff” and a picture of my fiance and his brother on the right side. After creating the inner locket, you can create the outside back of the locket. We decided to just do “Mother’s Day 2014”.
Since the locket is amazingly gorgeous and has a luster shine, is was hard to get some great pictures without the flash shining off of the locket. However, as you can see below, everything turned out wonderfully and they even etched out the ugly background from my picture inside the locket.
I know she is going to love this special piece, and the best part is that it is totally personalized so no one else is going to have it!
