Do your children love to paint their nails? I’ve got two daughters who are currently at the ages of 3 and 5. They love to have me paint their nails and often I’ll let them paint their nails to. They’ll paint their fingernails and toenails. Of course they love to choose lots of colors so they don’t just want one color. I hate the smell of nail polish and I hate that my kids have to smell it when we apply it.

I’m so happy there is a product out there that is made just for children. It’s called Piggy Paint. Melanie Hurley is the founder of Piggy Paint. This nail polish is water-based polish that is specially formulated of natural ingredients. It’s free of formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates, biphenyl A, ethyl acetate and acetone. It’s also made in the U.S.

I love the cute bags these polishes came in. The pink polka dots bag was a really great touch and I thought it really matched all the great colors. I received Make it Last base coat and topcoat as well as the Birthday Bash.

My daughters and I love all the colors we were given. I was surprised at how true to the color these polishes were. Usually when I use nail polish I have to put on more than one coat just to get to the color I want. With these Piggy Paints we only needed on coat and we were all good to go. Yes, I used this nail polish as well. I actually like it more than I like my nail polish.

One thing I noticed right away was that there was no smell. I was so amazed to actually have a nail polish that didn’t have any smell. I absolutely hate the smell of nail polish and it always seems to give me a headache and I hate my kids having to smell it when they apply it. This is a huge plus for me.

I would definitely buy this nail polish again. I was very satisfied with everything about these polishes. My daughters are happy and so am I. If you want some nail polish that is a lot less harmful for children than I suggest you check out Piggy Paint.

What a great idea. I’ve never seen water based polishes before.
