Playing With Slime

13 December, 2018 by KatBp 36 Comments

Do your kids enjoy doing arts & crafts? I know this is something that many kids enjoy doing, including my own daughters. They love doing all kinds of arts & crafts projects. One of those that they have started getting in to a lot lately, is slime. I bet that there are a lot of kids out there who also love slime. My daughters love all kinds of slime. There are a lot of different ways you can make slime, and the texture can be very different depending on how you make it. There are also a ton of different kinds of slime out there to buy too.

Since my daughters are such huge fans of slime, I was able to get them a nice selection of slime to add to their growing slime collection. Yes, they do have a great collection of slime already. It keeps growing because they’re always finding new kinds to buy or make. They especially love slime that is multi-colored or glows in the dark. I personally love slime too. It feels amazing! I’m sure I love it just as much as my kids do. My kids could play with slime for hours, which is great because they’re not spending so much time on electronics.

The unicorn poop slime is probably one of our favorites. All of these slime packages that we received do feel the same, but they look very different in colors. I would have to say that this was one of our favorites because of the colors. My girls love unicorns, and these were the perfect colors for that. When these colors are mixed together, they always create a beautiful color.

I don’t know what it is about the poop emoji that kids love so much, but my daughters love it as well. I think they find it funny, but either way, they love it. It was fun to see that they had this for a slime. I know my daughters really enjoyed this one since it was supposed to resemble the emoji poop. My oldest already brought this one to school to show off. She loved it!

Some of the ones that resembled a chemistry beaker were really neat because they were more shiny. The ones that were multi-colored really stood out. They had such beautiful colors that really shine.

We really loved the Jurassic World Slime too. We loved the containers with the dinosaurs on them. My kids also really loved how shiny this slime was as well. It was a very pretty color of blue and very shiny. A very appealing color, that’s for sure.

The original super cool slime seemed to be very similar in color to the unicorn poop slime. It also had all those beautiful colors my daughters and I love a lot. This one was so shiny and beautiful in color. We couldn’t believe how great the colors were.

Of course we can’t forget about the glow in the dark slime! Another favorite of my daughters. We always love any kind of glow in the dark slime. It’s so neat to be able to see it glowing. This slime is actually really neat in color before it glows too. We really love the light blue and how more clear this one is too.

If your kids enjoy making their own slime, then the original super cool slime lab would be a must for them. The boxed kit contains 18 pieces, including measuring cups, mixing sticks and a slime activator that results in a jar of glitter slime, glow in the dark and multi-color slime.

The instructions were very easy to follow. I like that it came with a few different colors to choose from for your slime, and you could choose to add glitter and make it glow in the dark if you want.

The slime turned out great after we mixed everything up. It turned out to be a lot like the other slime. A lot of fun to make, and very fun to play with too. My kids have been very happy with all of this slime. I already know they would like some for the holidays as well. That’s why I think these are also going to make for some great gifts this season. I have a lot of kids in mind who already want slime too. They’re going to love it!

You can look for these kid-pleasing presents online and at craft, party and specialty stores including TJ Max, Marshalls, HomeGoods, AC Moore, Party City, Learning Express and Hobby Lobby shops nationwide. I’ve even seen them at Walmart! Also, you can order from Amazon.

Do your kids enjoy slime?

We never had slime when I was a kid but it looks like fun! I love that you can add glitter with the slime lab. The unicorn poop one is my favorite, though!

I can’t think of one kid who wouldn’t love this. Gross and/or slimy things are universally beloved by kids of almost any age.

My kid is obsessed with slime. He tries to make it every time he touches glue, soap, flour or anything that he thinks it’s a slime ingredient. He will be happy to receive a slime set like this!

When my kids were little they always loved playing with slime! Even now my daughter is almost 21 and she will buy the slime at the store just to use as a stress reliever.

I wish this was available when my own children were still young. It would have kept them quiet. Haha. Anyway, I am happy that kids nowadays have toys that encourage sensory learning, like this slime. Love all the cool and glittery colors!
