It’s so crazy that the new year has already begun, and it’s now February! This year seems to be flying by quickly already. With the kids in school it does make it easier at times. There is still a lot I need to do with the kids in school. I have one daughter who is in Girl Scouts and the other is possibly joining something soon. I think it’s great that kids can join a club or sport that they can get interested in. I love that both of my girls enjoy school a lot. It’s nice to see them enjoy it.
Since kids are going to school, that means you may need to make up their lunches. I enjoy making lunches for my daughters. It’s the perfect time for me to get creative. During the holidays you can always come up with something fun for them. My daughters love it when I do this. Many kids love it when you show your love in their lunch boxes. You can always put notes in there or make up something special with their food. There is so much you can do for them!
Since Valentine’s Day is coming up soon, I was able to create something with my girls lunch boxes. I picked up a few items. Out of the Del Monte fruit cups I was able to make this cute “love bug” for them. I wrote on the banana for a Valentine message. Then I made some hearts out of Nature’s Harvest® bread. I always put in a snack as well, so I went with the Entenmann’s® Little Bites™. Those are always a wonderful snack for all of us.
School can be a very busy time for many of us. I always take the time to make my daughters lunches. It’s a lot of fun to be able to create something for them, and they love it. Being able to see how happy they are is always the best. They always get so excited and you can see that on their faces all of the time. That’s the best part! Seeing kids happy is always great.
Del Monte® will be hosting a themed “Think Outside the Lunchbox” booklet on 1 million packages of it’s Fruit Cups at WALMART, with $4.80 in instant coupon savings from these great lunchbox brands: The Laughing Cow® Cheese Dippers, Sara Lee® Snack Cakes, Juicy Juice®, Nature’s Harvest® bread, Wet Ones® Hand Wipes, Mini Babybel® and Entenmann’s® Little Bites™!
I love a great savings, so I’m all up for this. I love all the products that are listed as well, so having coupons with them is even better. I try to save as much as I can. I’m happy to be able to find all these great deals at Walmart. I shop at Walmart at least once a week for my grocery shopping. This is perfect for me so that I can save some money while shopping at Walmart.
I hope that you’ll all be able to come up with some creative ways to pack your kids lunches as well. I’m sure that many of you already do this too. I always pack up my daughters lunches the day before school. This is easier for me because we get up very early so they can be on the bus by 6:40 am. I’m not much of a morning person myself, so it’s easier for me to have everything ready a head of time. You never know when you may wake up late as well. Being prepared a head of time for school has been something that I have always done. I even get my kids clothes out the night before so that I’m not wasting more time in the morning getting anything else ready. It saves so much time!
Now remember, you can check Walmart for these coupons right away. You should be able to find them on the participating products. There are a lot of great savings in there. I check products for coupons all the time. You’d be surprised how many love to put coupons on products. I’m just glad that some of my favorite products will have these awesome savings.
I hope that you’ll all think outside the lunch box and create something special for your kids lunch boxes. I know they’ll truly appreciate it if you do. Have any of you tried these products I had mentioned for your kids lunch boxes? They sure make great lunches!

That is a really creative lunch. I have to admit, I usually just throw my kids’ lunches into a bag as they frantically run out the door to get the bus. I should really do something more fun.

I always plan the night before. I always seem to be in a rush in the morning, so I make sure things are done ahead of time.

It’s definitely important to be creative when it comes to preparing lunches for the kids. They get bored with food easily especially if they’re picky eaters. These are all lovely food products.
I agree. It’s nice to have something fun for them to eat.
With 3 children getting them involved in the lunchbox process is a must! I let them help pick out the items and those coupons really help!
Coupons are always a big help. 🙂

Cute the way you pack lunch. When my children were young we had to put mostly everything in baggies lol. Now they make all the great little containers they can take with them.
I love that they have all these containers for lunches now.
We homeschool, but we still don’t seem to have a lot of time for lunch! We tend towards quick and easy at lunch still.
I love being able to make these fun lunches whether it’s at home or at school. 🙂
