Prize Candle Review

Everyone has heard about the candles that have jewelry hidden inside, right? If you haven’t heard about any of these candles then you’re missing out. The candles contain a piece of jewelry hidden right inside the candle. You actually have to burn the candle down in order to receive your piece of jewelry. I recently had the chance to review one of the Prize Candles.

I received the orange blossom candle to review. I was so excited to open the package when the candle arrived. I could smell it right through the box without even opening it up. I love when you can smell certain items in the package before you even open them up. That’s usually a great sign that it’s going to be a great smelling item. It definitely smells like oranges but with a little bit of a floral as well. It’s a very pleasant scent that I’m happy to have for a candle. Of course I was ready to just light the candle and see what was hidden inside.

As I was burning the candle down I saw the jewelry was right towards the top. You can also see on the back of the candle where the jewelry lays. Using a tweezers works very well to get the jewelry out. It’s wrapped up in foil so you can easily pull it out. After you unwrap the foil you will see your jewelry in a little bag along with a code to use to find out the value of your piece of jewelry. I thought that was really nice. I’ve never been able to figure out what the price value is without bringing it in to a jeweler. I love how this company puts a code on a piece of paper and you go right to their website and put that code in to find out the value of your jewelry. I’ve never seen any other company do this before. I think it’s a really nice idea.

I couldn’t wait to find out what jewelry was hidden inside. After opening up the foil I could see a lovely pair of earrings. They’re very beautiful. I knew I just had to see what they were worth. I went to the website like they said to do and put in the code. It turns out they are worth $25. Not a bad value at all and the earrings are so pretty that I’ll be wearing them for sure.

104_4233 If you want to know the value of your jewelry right away, than Prize Candles is defiantly the candle place for you. I’d rather know what the prize value is right away then have to go to a jeweler to find out. Sometimes they will even charge you just to let you know what the price value is. Make sure to check out Prize Candles to find a candle for you or maybe for someone else too.

Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for a review. The opinions are all my own and may differ from yours.

That’s awesome that they let you know the value right away! I have had a Diamond Candle and have always wondered about the ring that they put in there…

It’s “their” website telling you how much they’re worth correct? Have you brought them in to an actual jeweler to see if what they’re telling you is an honest appraisal?

Yes. I did. All the rings that a Prize Candle told me were worth $25 to $50 and the $200 ring they shipped to me were appraised at the same value. Costume jewelry that would retail from $15 to $25. My “$200” ring appraised for $25 at retail and $10 in general.

How do they know what size ring to send you so you can actually wear it?

With these candles I don’t believe you get to choose the ring size. It’s all a surprise.

Bogus. My “$200 ring” was appraised for $10. Which means retail price is $25. Also Prize Candle did not correct this issue but instead, dismissed me when I contacted them regarding the appraisal.

The candles are much smaller than these. And the quality of rings has went down. The rings I recieved in my first candle were much nicer than the crap that was in the last 6 I just purchased. Sooo disappointed. All the rings had a value of $10 which seemed really high for the low quality.
