National random acts of kindness day is celebrated on February 17th. I love being able to spread kindness do everyone. If you can do something kind for someone, they are going to truly appreciate it. You may even make their day better. I try to do random acts of kindness as often as I can. This could be something simple as opening up a door for someone or helping them carry their groceries. It doesn’t take much to be kind to someone. We need a lot more kindness in the world today.

I love these ideas. The world is a crazy place right now and if I can help someone smile, I am all in!
Exactly! I think we all need to spread some kindness.
What a wonderful list. Since I live in an area that has a lot of elderly people I like to help at the grocery store. Especially when they need help getting items from the shelves.
That’s so great. I do the same!
I really like this post. It made me smile and seeded some amazing ideas for the gifts I can give as an act of Random Kindness. Awesome, Kathy!
I’m so glad you like it. I love to help out whenever I can.
These are fantastic ideas for practicing random acts of kindness at school. Small gestures can make a big difference in someone’s day and these ideas are all very thoughtful and can help to create a more positive school community.

Of course. I think spreading kindness is so important.
These are all really good suggestions for random acts of kindness, though (much like Valentine’s Day) I think it would be lovely if people were prone to do them more frequently vs once a year.
Right! I think it’s wonderful.
These are excellent ways to pass kindness along not just on Feb 17 but every day. It doesn’t take much effort to be kind to someone.
Agreed. I think they should be everyday too.

Great list. Oh i like the idea of putting money in books, especially my own titles at the library for lucky readers.
