I have been waiting for some good family movies to come out. My family loves to watch movies together. We haven’t seen much come out lately, so it’s nice to hear about Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs. This is a movie that was just released on Blu-Ray and DVD. It’s a wonderful movie to be able to watch with the whole family.

Featuring the Voices of Chloë Grace Moretz, Sam Claflin,
Gina Gershon, Patrick Warburton, and Jim Rash

Premiering on Digital and On Demand in Homes and Castles Far, Far Away September 18
on Blu-ray™, and DVD September 22

SANTA MONICA, CA (August 5, 2020)

A classic fairy tale gets a modern twist in the action-packed animated adventure Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs, premiering on Digital and On Demand September 18 and available to own on Blu-ray™ and DVD September 22 from Lionsgate. Chloë Grace Moretz (Bolt, Inside Out), Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games series), Gina Gershon (TV’s “Riverdale”), Patrick Warburton (TV’s “Family Guy,” The Emperor’s New Groove), and Jim Rash (TV’s “Community”) lend their vocal talents to this humorous and heartwarming retelling of the Snow White fable, only this time it’s the princess who must save the prince(s) – all seven of them! This family-friendly film has “a strong body-positive theme that emphasizes the beauty of characters of all shapes and sizes” (Common Sense Media), and received the Dove Seal of Approval for All Ages.

This outrageous fairy tale spoof starts as Snow White steals a pair of red shoes that transform her into a princess. Meanwhile, a witch’s curse turns seven brave princes into dwarfs, forcing them to seek out the princess, hoping for a kiss to break their spell. Together, they must face Snow White’s wicked stepmother – who will stop at nothing to get her precious shoes back – and, along the way, learn that true beauty lies within!

Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs

This movie was directed by Sung-ho Hong, and features character design and animation direction from Jin Kim, who worked on Disney’s animated classics Fantasia 2000, Frozen II, and Tangled. Music is by Primetime Emmy® award-winning composer Geoff Zanelli (2006, Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, “Into the West”; Emmy® nomination: 2010, Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, “The Pacific”), whose theatrical work includes Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Voice direction is from Tony Bancroft, the director of Disney’s Mulan. It was produced by Locus Animation Studio.
Go behind the scenes of this must-own animated adventure with enchanting Blu-ray and DVD bonus features, including two “making-of” featurettes and two music videos featuring the all-new original songs! The Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs Blu-ray and DVD will be available for the price of $21.99 and $19.98, respectively.

Fun Package

Check out this amazing package that was sent to me. It’s got everything that has to do with the movie. My family was able to plant some carrots and do some mini apple pie baking too. This was a great kit and we had so much fun with everything. There was even a bag that we could use to fill up with apple if we go apple picking as well as an apron for when we cook the apple pies. I loved the basket that it came with too. I will use that often for many fruits and vegetables. It’s perfect for taking out to the garden to pick everything out too! Of course the apple items like the peelers were perfect for getting the apples ready to make apple pie. Then we’ve got the pastry maker to make the pie. Everything was amazing!

This mini apple pie recipe is the fairest of them all! RED SHOES AND THE SEVEN DWARFS is premiering on Digital and On Demand in homes and castles far, far away on September 18, and on Blu-ray™ and DVD September 22! http://bit.ly/RedShoesApplePieRecipe

Mini Apple Pies

My family decided to make some of the mini apple pies. One of my favorite pies is apple pie, so I was excited to make these. They’re the perfect size for one person too. The apple slicer came with a little orange worm that comes off to take off all the bad spots on the apples. This worked out great in getting out those bad spots.

Then the apple slicer we used for all the apples. I love how thin they cut the apples. It’s great for any apple pie.

We then made our own pie crust. After making the pie crust, we used the pastry maker to cut out all the pieces. My kids had a lot of fun with this. It’s a great way to get them in the kitchen and help out.

Once we had all that ready, we were able to put our apple in there.

Once the apples were in, we were able to shut the pastry maker and get the top to go over the button so that they stayed together. This helps make it so that the pie pieces get pinched together. Don’t forget to use the egg whites to brush across the pie either. That will help give it that nice golden color too.

They are now done and can be put in the oven! Ours turned out great! The kids and I loved them. My kids sure had a fun time making these. They did such a wonderful job too. The pies turned out delicious!

Make your own fairy tale friends with this fun and easy craft! RED SHOES AND THE SEVEN DWARFS is now premiering on Digital and On Demand in homes and castles far, far away, and on Blu-ray™ and DVD September 22! http://bit.ly/RedShoesBearPuppets
