ReUsies Review/Giveaway

30 November, 2012 by KatBp 7 Comments

This Review/Giveaway is done by Kathy’s Freebies & Savings.

If you have been reading some of my posts then you know that I’m all about being green. I love to recycle and save as much as possible. Zip lock bags can’t be reused to often. I’ve reused them a few times but after a while they start to get holes in them. Sometimes you don’t want to reuse them depending on what was in their to begin with. I wouldn’t want to reuse a bag if I put strawberries in them. That would just make for a bigger mess. Luckily I was able to review ReUsies.

ReUsies are reusable snack and sandwich bags. They are made from 100% cotton, lined with leak-resistant nylon and are secured with hook and loop closures. They are very easy to clean. You can do it by hand, dishwasher or washer and dryer. Instead of throwing away plastic baggies you’re able to re-use these bags.

With the ReUsies I’m able to pack my husbands lunch and not have to throw them away afterwords. My husband likes to have sandwiches and other foods packed for lunch. My daughters are not in school yet, but when they are, I know they’re going to love these bags. Instead of having a boring snack or sandwich bag, they can have a nicely designed bag. It may even help them eat their fruit and vegetables more. We go through a lot of plastic zip lock bags each day. I’m glad to have found the ReUsies. What a great way to re-use a bag and not have to throw it out after one use.

My husband recently switched over to drinking water.  We go out and buy the Propel water flavorings for his water because he hates the taste of plain water. I decided to use one of the bags for his single packs of water flavoring. It works out great! My daughters are always in to the single packets, so this way I can put them up so they won’t get in to them.

If you use zip lock bags often, you should check out the ReUsies. They have a variety of designs to choose from. You’re going to save yourself a lot of money with these bags. Instead of throwing out the zip lock bags you can re-use the Reusies over and over again.

I pack my lunch every day, and so does my husband. I would use the ReUsies for this, and also keep one in my purse.
