I have two daughters who love to play with doll houses or anything related to that. They have their own plastic castle, but the problem with plastic is that it often breaks. Unfortunately they did break a piece of it off, but it’s not a big deal. They still play with it. I’ve always wanted to get them one that they wouldn’t be able to ruin and could play with for a long time.

Luckily Roominate came to the rescue. Roominate’s unique blend of building, circuits, design, crafts, storytelling, and creativity teaches kids while they play. Using motor and light circuits, modular furniture building pieces and walls, Roominate empowers kids to build endless amazing creations!

Roominate teaches:

  • Hands-On Problem Solving
  • Spatial + Fine Motor Skills
  • Self-Confidence
  • Creativity
  • Basic Circuitry

I received Roominate Chateau to review. I knew my daughters were going to love this. Since they love playing with doll houses I thought this would be something very different. I’m glad I was able to let them try out this product.

This product comes with 131 pieces inside. You can build a structure or multiple creations. Kids will get some hands on and open play with this. This product is recommended for children 6 years of age and up.

The great thing about this chateau is that you can build it however you want. You could make it a house, kitchen, bathroom, or anything creative that you can think of. There are also a lot of pieces that you can make into what you want. You can use them to create items like chairs, tables, beds or what ever it is you can think of to build your dreams.

You can even make your creations come to life. You can wire up the motor and light circuits to make windmills, lamps, elevators, fans, or anything else you come up with. Let your imagination run wild.

Kids develop important STEM skills during play: hands-on problem solving, spatial and fine motor skills, self-confidence, and creativity.

My daughters had so much fun putting this together and building what they wanted. I helped them a bit because they asked me to. We made a house with two rooms. They got very creative. They made some beds, chairs, stairs, tables and more. I did help make some of them only because they asked me too. It can be a bit tricky, which is why this is recommended for those that are six years and up.

If your kids love to play with doll houses, than I definitely recommend Roominate. Being able to actually build what you want is amazing for the children. They can become so creative and they’ll have a lot of fun with it.

Oh my goodness, this looks so fun! I know I’d spend hours doing this with my daughter. She likes to do things with her hands, so I know she’d love this.

My daughters would love this since they can build it however they’d like to. I may even have to join in on their fun! 😉
