Yep, just like many other things the filter always should be changed out regularly.
We just had our HVAC system replaced because it was almost 35 years old. It hung in there for a long time! It is good to know how things work and how to best maintain them.

I just had to have my ac tuned up and Freon added because my coils were freezing over. Thankfully, it wasn’t too expensive to fix. I neglected maintenance on it for too long but I’m on a plan now.
