The Crimson Crimes Book Review

12 September, 2012 by KatBp Leave a Comment

About the Author: Patricia K. McCarthy lives and writes in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Her Crimson vampire stories has received extensive media coverage, in national and local newspapers, as well as on the radio and television.

The Crimson Crime story is about vampires. All vampires have to drink blood in order to survive, so they have to bite other people just to survive. Some of these vampires will even drain their victims of blood and rape them afterwords.

Magdalene and Simon Crimson are married and have one child. Some of their friends and family are Derek, Kevin, David Three Rats, and Auntie Aileen. Magdalene always goes out hunting for her victims. They have killed so many people, so the town starts to get worried. They all decide that it’s time to hide all the bodies of the victims they have killed. After going out to hide the bones in a cave, someone walking a dog sees them. Of course the only thing they can do is kill him or they will get caught. So, Magdalene has to kill him in order to keep their cover. They get spotted by a police officers as well, so they must kill them as well. After all is done, they run and keep hidden. They whole town is talking about this by now, and it’s on the news and in the newspapers. They know they all must leave town now to get away from all of this before they get caught. Do you think anybody gets caught? Well your going to have to read the book to find out more.

I love books that are about vampires. I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to review The Crimson Crimes book. This book is recommended for anyone 18 years of age and older. It does has some swearing as well as adult scenes. I love the vampire twist with this book. Most vampire books I have read are usually just about vampires killing others, but this book had more to it. Some of the vampires would have dreams about the past or future. Usually vampires can’t dream because there always awake, and never sleep. If you’re looking for a book about vampires this would be a great book for you.

Disclosure: I received the product in exchange for a review. My opinions are my own and may differ from those of your own
