Basketball is something I have always enjoyed playing as well as watching ever since I was little. I remember always going down to the park with my friends and family and shooting some hoops. Lots of great memories growing up and playing basketball with everyone. I even had my own hoop at my house for awhile. You could always see me outdoors doing something. Now that I have daughters of my own, we always go together and play some basketball outside together.
Recently my family and I went to see the Harlem Globetrotters at the Target Center in Minnesota. This was only the second time we have ever been to one of their games. I’m so glad we were able to go back again and watch them play. They are such an amazing team and so much fun to watch. Not only do they play basketball, but they are extremely funny too. They always have a lot of great tricks up their sleeves.
Once we got to the game we grabbed some snacks and something to eat and then found our seats. We went down to buy a basketball as well. Last time we went to the game we didn’t get anything, so we knew we had to grab a basketball this time. I know that you can sometimes get autographs at the end of the game, which we did, so we wanted to have the basketball signed. It’s a wonderful basketball too, so we were all excited to have one and hope to get it signed at the end of the game.
My family and I had such a fun time being able to watch the Harlem Globetrotters. There are not a lot of sports that we watch much, but we enjoy watching the Harlem Globetrotters. They make the game very interesting and it gets a lot of laughs in too. Besides just playing the game, you get to see them interact with the players and even the audience too.
I love the fact that they interact with the audience and do a lot of fun tricks. This is one of the best basketball games I have been to. The Harlem Globetrotters are such a job to watch. My whole family loves being able to go to their games. We always have a good laugh and are amazed at some of the stuff they can do. It’s great to watch a game where they can make you laugh too.
Globie is the Harlem Globetrotters mascot. He always comes out during the games. It is so much fun to watch when he comes out too. You’ll usually see him doing some fun tricks as well. He always knows how to make everyone laugh and have a good time. During this game, we actually saw him pop out his eyes and have different ones on. The kids really enjoyed seeing that. They had a good laugh about that part.
The Harlem Globetrotters are always a lot of fun to watch. My family and I had such a blast going to the game. I know this was only our second game we have ever seen, but it has always been enjoyable when we go. They always switch it up with players and add in some new tricks and skits and such. They sure know how to get the crowd involved, and we love it!
Once the game was over, you were able to go down and meet the players as well as get autographs if you wanted. Mercades (my oldest daughter) and my husband went down there to get some autographs. We had bought the basketball so that we could try to get some of the players autographs, which we did. They only did autographs for a half hour because they had another game to get ready for. We were just happy to be able to have the chance to get autographs. We ended up getting two autographs, and I’m sure we’ll be back again and hopefully get more of the players autographs then too.
