The Vegg Baking Mix & Cookbook Giveaway
I do eat Vegan off and on and know how hard it is to find a good egg substitute. I was given the opportunity to try Rocky’s Vegg Baking Mix along with their newly released The VEGG Cookbook, Egg Free Cooking Uncaged. One lucky reader is also going to get to 2 jars of the VEGG baking mix and receive The VEGG Cookbook courtesy of Rocky at the Vegg! One jar of the Vegg baking mix takes the place of 48 eggs!! The Vegg Baking Mix launched in early February. It is available in 7.0 oz cardboard cylinders, also available in bulk (25 pounds) You can order online from Rocky at the VEGG!
You can go here to see my recipe for Vegan Gluten Free Lemon Bars from The VEGG Cookbook using the Vegg baking mix. Anyone who wants to bake egg free should give this mix a shot! It has the smell of eggs and the viscosity of eggs along with the yellow color! I am anxious to make some vegan Challah bread using Rocky’s Vegg baking mix! Stay tuned for recipe!
This Giveaway is open to US only and ends April 10, 2014 at 11:59 PM EST.

I haven’t tried a egg substitute but I have heard a lot about it, would love to give this a try and that cookbook would come in handy.

I just avoid recipes that call for eggs. I’m not much for baking either—but if I were—I would probably use apple sauce to replace the eggs.

The only thing I tried is flaxseed and water mixture. Would love to try this.

A few things like black beans, chia seeds, and flax seeds I have tried. Sometimes you just need an egg but I don’t usually have them around and don’t like their taste.
