Vikings of the Northern Lights

I know how difficult it can be to get outdoors sometimes, especially trying to get your kids outdoors. Now days it seems all they want to do is be on their electronics. I’ve always told my kids it’s better to be off your electronics, and they know this well. Sometimes it can be difficult to get them up to do something though, and I know a lot of kids have a hard time leaving their electronics. I’m always looking for fun ways to get involved with my kids and have some outdoor fun. Winter can be a tough one because some kids don’t like to be out in the cold, and honestly, neither do I. Starlux Games makes it easier to actually get up and get outdoors even when it’s cold out.

Stalux Games has this wonderful game called Vikings of the Northern Lights that gets everyone up and moving. I personally think winter is one of the best times to play this game too. My family and I love it when it’s just starting to get dark out to play this game as well. The scepter has glowing crystals on it, so it’s nice to play when it’s a bit dark outside, that way they light up even better. Of course you can play it any time of day, we just prefer it when we can see the crystals really start to light up.

Once you have your teams split up, you can all start playing the game. The first thing you want to do, is have the Ice Dragons go hide all of the glow crystals. The Vikings are going to want to search around for them after they are all hidden. You’ll probably want to make sure to pick your area and let everyone know where the entire area will be so that everyone knows where they can go and where they shouldn’t go.

Once the Vikings find a glow crystal, they’ll want to put in on their scepter. The Vikings want to look around for all of these in order to win. If they find all of them before the Ice Dragons freeze all the Vikings, then they’ll win. Make sure everyone on the Vikings game is running around and trying to find all the glow crystals.

One person from the Vikings team can hold on to the scepter and start unfreezing other players too. If any of their players are frozen, all they have to do is grab the scepter and unfreeze their players. It’s a lot like freeze tag, but also capture the flag. I’d say it’s a combination of both of these games all rolled up in one fun game of Vikings of the Northern Lights.
All the kids always have a blast when we bring this game out. My daughters have especially been having a great time playing this game. We truly love it and have so much fun with it. It’s nice to get outdoors instead of being inside sometimes too. We are so glad we have had the chance to play this game, and can’t wait to continue to share it with their friends. We have some upcoming holiday parties soon that we are going to bring the game to. I know all the kids are especially going to love it. If you still have yet to get someone something for the holidays, this would make a great gift too. It’s such a great game, from Starlux Games and it gets everyone moving.

This would be so much fun here. We don’t get snow so it’s easier to get outside even in the colder months.

I understand what are you talking about. It’s so important for kids to be more time outside and we need to find the way to entertain them!
