It has been an interesting last week for us. A lot has been going on, both good and bad. I forgot to get pictures of some of the fun we had, but it was an interesting week. My daughters and I did some shopping over the weekend and went out to eat for some lunch at a buffet. I didn’t get photos as I forgot, but we had a great time. I always enjoy shopping with my daughters.
Bath & Body Works
Mercades and I really love going to Bath & Body Works. We usually get sent coupons each month, sometimes more often. Candles and lotion are some of our favorites from there too. I had a coupon for a free item, so I let her choose what she wanted. She decided to go with a lotion. We probably have way more lotion then we need, but it’s free, so why not, right?! She chose this raspberry jam donut scent that she really liked. We love being able to use up our coupons. We normally get 20% off coupons as well, but this time she just wanted her free item, so that’s what we ended up getting.
Our Cat Had a Seizure
My husband heard one of our cats meowing really loudly, so we went to go figure out where he was. We found him in our basement on the floor and he ended up having a seizure. It was only for a short time, but it was very scary to see. This is the first time he has had one. After it was over, he ended up moving and going to the litter box and then my husband and I made up a box for him. We called the vet and such to talk to them about it as well. We grabbed a box and made it comfy for him for the night. He didn’t move much for a few hours, but he was eating and drinking, so things were looking okay. About eight hours after the seizure, he was back to moving around and such. He is now doing much better. I know that it could happen again since this was his first seizure. It was definitely something I hope to not have to see again though. My kids were there when it happened as well and they took it very hard. We can only hope that it doesn’t happen again, but it more then likely will. He is an older cat, maybe 8 or 9 years old. We are all glad that he is doing well not though.
Lay’s Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Chips
If you love dill pickle chips and don’t mind spicy foods, you have got to try these. Dill pickle are one of my favorite kinds of chips. I do love spicy foods as well. These chips definitely had a lot of spice to them. I actually really enjoyed them, but that’s probably because I love both spicy and dill pickle, and the combination was amazing. They were a bit to spicy for me, but I’d still eat them. I thought they were really good.
RITZ Cheese Crispers
I loved both of these flavors, but I’d have to say I liked the four cheese & herb the best. They were very crispy and delicious! I know I’ll be buying more of these to snack on for my family. They were full of a great cheese flavor and so crispy. I love crispy snacks, which is probably why I really enjoyed these a lot.
Froot Loops Pop Tarts
I love Froot Loops, so I was really excited to try out these Pop Tarts. When I first took a bite, I really liked it, but after awhile it was starting to get to sweet for me. I probably wouldn’t want to buy these again. I just don’t like sweets very much, and this was way to sweet for me. They did smell amazing though. If it wasn’t so sweet I probably would have liked them more.
Pokemon Cookies
I’m not a big fan of cookies that are ready to bake, but my youngest, Tesla loves them. We really love Pokemon in our house, and when we saw these cookies, we knew we just had to have them. We have bought these type of cookies a lot because they always come out with fun and unique designs on the cookies. I don’t usually eat them, but my youngest enjoys them, and they’re smaller cookies, so it’s okay. These ones turned out great too. They had some with Pikachu on them and others with Pokemon balls. They looked great!
Golden Corral
My daughters and I went out to lunch with my father (their grandfather) over the weekend. We decided to go to Golden Corral. It had been a while since we have been there. We love it there because it’s a buffet, and everyone can choose what they’d like to eat. Sometimes it’s easier to go to a buffet so that we know everyone will be able to find something they like to eat. If you have never been to Golden Corral and you have one near you, I’d highly recommend it. It is probably one of my favorite places to eat. They always have amazing food.
All that food looks awesome. I love the doritos with the pickels. I’m sorry to hear about your cat having a seizure. That’s scary.

Right. It was to sweet for me for sure. I Love Bath & Body Works too. They have amazing products.
It is good to see that buffet places are still around. Our strict rules here closed down all the buffet places near me.
We love buffets. I’m glad we were able to go too. They had everyone wear gloves when getting food and masks of course. I was glad to see that.
Oh no, I’m sorry about your cat! I hope he continues to do okay. We LOVE Golden Corral but haven’t been since Covid because we weren’t sure how the buffet would go.
Thanks. I really hope so as well. At our Golden Corral everyone had to wear a mask and gloves while getting food. I’m glad they had things done well like that.
