This past week was a very busy one for my family. My oldest daughter turned 12 on March 23rd. We celebrated with her in a couple different ways. That was probably one of the biggest things that happened over the week. Of course we found more new foods to try out as well. That is something we have always enjoyed doing. It’s fun to try out new things.
Warheads Chewy Wallys
I thought this Warhead candy was really good. I love the original ones as well, so I was excited to try these ones out. I wish they would have been more sour, but they’re still delicious. I will definitely be getting more of these again. I love that they made them in the chewy form. They’re so good.
Haribo Sour Bites
I thought these were okay. They were not my favorite, but they were not bad either. They did have a great sour taste to them though. I think that having the two flavors in one didn’t do it for me. If they were separated, I bet I would have liked them more.
Mercades Turned 12!
My oldest just turned 12 last week, March 23rd. I let her pick out the cake she wanted from the store. We love to make them ourselves, but when she saw the Spongebob one, and really wanted to get it. I know she really was eyeing the cheeseburger vehicle Spongebob was in, and that’s just fine. I got her the cake that she wanted, and it was a delicious cake too.
I also let her pick out where she wanted to eat for dinner. She loves McDonalds fries, so that is where we ended up going. I really love their fries too. I don’t really eat much their myself, but she loves the fries, and it was her birthday. I usually let my kids pick where they’d like to eat for their birthday.
Skating
I was watching my niece for a few days while my sister in law was out on vacation, so we decided to go somewhere fun. Since it was still around Mercades birthday, and she had been wanting to go skating, we decided to go. They had a fun Easter event going on too, so we were all excited about that. Mercades and her cousin are exactly a month apart, so we thought this would be fun for both of their birthdays. We celebrated them together.
Since it was an Easter event, they had eggs filled with candy for the kids to collect. They all had fun running over to collect all the eggs they could.
Easter Egg Hunt
With Easter coming up, we have been doing some Easter egg hunts. My daughters like to do them for each other too. One of them will hide the eggs as the other goes to find them. They always have fun with this. I enjoy watching them find the eggs too.

Every day in your house seems to be a holiday for the kids. That Sponge Bob cake was so cute and must have made a very happy birthday addition.

My children went skating recently, too, and it was so much fun to attend a big group event at a place that had been mostly closed last year. So glad to see everything opening up!!

The infected of CoVid19 is rising here in our place that is why we cannot go outside for egg hunting activity so we decided to do inside our house and hope kids will have fun too.
