My family and I recently sat down and watched the movie Wonder Park together. We all really enjoyed this movie. I thought all the characters were great, and my daughters really loved them too. Everyone seems to have their favorite characters in the movie. I think the whole movie can really relate with children because of how the imagination is in this movie. June has got such a big imagination, and my daughters do as well. I know they can relate a lot with this movie. All kids have great imaginations. Just imagine if your kids dreams really came true! That’s a lot like this movie is because June has great dreams, and they can come to life. Wouldn’t that be amazing?!
About the Movie:
Buckle up for an epic adventure where anything is possible! A young girl named June with a big imagination makes an incredible discovery – the amusement park of her dreams has come to life. Filled with the world’s wildest rides operated by fun-loving animals, the excitement never ends. But when trouble hits, June and her misfit team of furry friends begin an unforgettable journey to save the park. Action-packed and brimming with laughs, Wonder Park is a ride the whole family will love.
In the movie, there are a lot of wonder chimps. Many of them are all dressed up differently at different times, but my favorite were always when they were the flowers. I decided to do a cupcake recipe that was inspired by the Wonder Park movie and the wonder chimps. Since I love the flower ones, I decided to make those as cupcakes.
Ingredients:
Your favorite cupcake recipe (I used a boxed cake mix)
Vanilla Frosting
Candy Eyeballs
Pink Sugar Sprinkles
Brown Sprinkles
Vanilla Wafers
Mini Marshmallows
Black Decorating Gel
Step One: Frost your cupcakes. You don’t have to do anything fancy, some store bought frosting will be fine. It will all be covered up in the end anyways. Just frost all the cupcakes first.
Step Two: Now you can take the marshmallows and cut them in half diagonally. I just use a pair of scissors to cut the marshmallows in half. I used the pink marshmallows because I wanted to make the flowers pink. You can use any color you want.
Step Three: Take the marshmallows and dip them in the pink sugar sprinkles. I just dipped them right in the sprinkles. Since the marshmallows were cut in half, the one side is sticky, so the sprinkles will stick right to them. You can always put them in a bag and shake them too.
You can see what the finished flower will look like above!
Step Four: Place one of the Vanilla Wafers at the bottom of the cupcake for his mouth. Break one in half and use those for the ears. Make sure the ears are on the sides.
Step Five: Now you can just use the black decorating gel to make the mouth and nostrils. It’s very simple. You just need to make a line for the mouth and two dots for the nostrils.
Step Six: Now you just have to put on the eyes.
Step Seven: Use the brown sprinkles for around his face. All you have to do, is sprinkle them around as much as you’d like.

I also received this wonderful Wonder Park package with so many great goodies inside! These are all going to come in handy this summer, especially when we go to some amusement parks too! We are actually going to one this weekend, so these goodies are coming with us while we enjoy an amusement park too, just like in the movie. You’ll see the Wonder Chimp stuffed animal that came with the package, and he’s the one I made the cupcakes of. Isn’t he adorable?!
