Yard Clean Up With WORX Lawn Sprayer

It’s nice to see the weather is finally starting to warm up. I’m glad to be able to get outdoors more now. My husband and I have so much we want to do this summer that involves being outdoors. We have a lot of projects we’re working on outside around our home this summer. Of course keeping our yard cleaned up has always been something we do. Being able to get our lawn looking nice by keeping the grass mowed and getting rid of weeds is always one thing that needs to be done. With the WORX 20V, 2-gal. Lawn Sprayer you can get rid of weeds easily.

Details

  • No Pumping Required! Pump automatically pressurizes providing continuous spray for all applications.
  • Pump can be used with other lawn sprayer tanks without concern of contamination.
  • Pressure release valve allows for quick release of internal pressure for easy refills or cleanup.
  • Lightweight spray wand and variable spray nozzle with Lock-On/Off provide professional results.
  • Built-in spray wand storage for quick cleanup, portability, and storage.
  • Shoulder strap harness lessens user fatigue during long periods of lawn spraying.
  • Same Battery, Expandable Power. The same battery powers over 75+ 20V, 40V, and 80V lifestyle, garden, and power tools in the Power Share™ family.

Weeds can be such a pain to get rid of sometimes. When you have a tool like the WORX 20V, 2-gal. Lawn Sprayer, it makes it easier to take care of those. I hate having weeds around my yard. They are never fun to have around. They’re such a hassle, but having the right tools can at least make the job easier. Being able to just spray them and let everything else do the hard work is nice.

Getting Rid of Weeds

We have a decent size yard, and with a bigger yard, usually comes a lot of weeds and such that we don’t like having around. One of the ones we hate the most, are those prickly bushes. Those are actually a real pain because you don’t want to touch them to pull them out because they actually hurt when you touch them. That’s the nice thing about having this tool. You can use the WORX lawn sprayer and fill it with the right weed killer to get rid of all those. They are horrible to have around the yard, especially with having kids around. I’d hate to have to accidentally step on one or touch one. They are very prickly.

Air Compressor Pump

One thing we have really enjoyed about this lawn sprayer, is that you don’t have to stop to pump it up. The automatic pump provides a continuous spray for lawn spraying applications of all sorts. The lawn sprayer is equipped with a dependable 20V, 2.0Ah, MAX lithium, Power Share battery that drives an air compressor pump to deliver a constant spraying pressure of 26 PSI. The battery’s run time is approximately 40 gal. per charge. Unlike manual pumps, the lawn sprayer’s air compressor pump never makes contact with the tank’s liquid contents. Therefore, the same pump can be used with other lawn sprayer tanks without concern of contamination.

A pressure release valve on the tank allows quick and easy release of internal tank pressure prior to removing the lid for refilling and cleanup. Spray wand storage is built into the tank base for portability and storage.  A shoulder strap harness also is included for easy carrying, especially during extended use periods. The sprayer also can be ported by its handle. Its platform base stabilizes the sprayer in an upright position for stationary spraying.

Many Different Uses

Of course you can use the lawn sprayer for more than just spraying weeds as well. Lawn sprayings are most known for applying fertilizers, herbicides and pesticides. They also are handy for spot watering and spraying chemicals for cleaning, sanitizing and algae/mildew removal. In most cases, portable sprayers enable gardeners to save money by using concentrated, rather than pre-mixed, solutions. My husband and I have a small garden in our front yard, so we love to use the lawn sprayer for that as well. It works well for so many different uses.

It has great water pressure, so it’s sure to get the job done well. There are so many great uses you can use a lawn sprayer for. With the weather starting to warm up, now is a great time to get a lawn sprayer to help clean up the yard. We have brought ours out and started using it around the house already. We have been using ours in so many ways, especially for the weeds. Lots of great uses for a lawn sprayer.

The WORX 20V, 2-gal. Lawn Sprayer (WG829, $109.99) is available at worx.com and online retailers including Lowes.com and Homedepot.com.  A bare tool version (WG829.9, $69.99), minus the battery and charger, also is available at worx.com.

I have some pesky weeds that I need to spray soon. One area is around my a/c unit. I typically spray weed/grass killer there so I don’t have to worry about accidentally mess something up. This canister sprayer would make it super easy to spray my yard.

I can see how the sprayer would work well with some fertilizers. Since we have dogs and kids, we never use herbicides or pesticides on the lawn, especially since dandelions are one of my favorite plants!
