With the weather being cooler and temperatures dropping, my daughters and I have been enjoying our time indoors. It has been below zero the past couple of weeks for us, but luckily the weather is supposed to get warmer this week. We always try to find fun things to do indoors, and one of my daughters favorites, are making slime. ZURU has just released these OOSH Slime Potions, and they’re so much fun!
ZURU OOSH Potions Slime Surprise!

Adding a dash of magic to DIY slime making, there’s four different magic potion bottles, each with two surprise potions to create inside. From the BFF’s Elixir to the Enchanting Potion, kids can engage their imagination as they follow each magic recipe. Just pop open the sparkly potion bottle and use the base a s a bowl to make each potion with the included glow in the dark mixing wand. Every spellbinding potion comes with its own gooey or powder base, three different accessories to add, storage bottles and an easy to follow magic recipe. If your kids love slime, then I think they’re going to love the OOSH Potions Slime Surprise. My daughters love making slime, so I knew they were going to love opening these up. They also love surprises, and these are always a surprise. There is a tag on it that shows the slimes you may be making, but for the most part, it’s still a surprise. My daughters were surprised with the slime that they were able to make.
My daughters were so excited when they saw these. They love it when we make slime together. We especially love it when we can add in different kinds of items to the slime. Instead of it just being a plain slime, you get to add different items to the slime. This makes the texture different too, and they love it.

Mermaid & Unicorn Slime
The mermaid slime came with liquid glitter, activator, three surprise beads, a wand and a bottle to put the slime in once you’re done. The unicorn slime came with magic dust, three surprise sparkles, a wand and a bottle to put the slime in. The unicorn one you need to use water for your activator, which is why that wasn’t included.
The first thing you want to do with the mermaid slime, is to add in the sweet seashells liquid glitter in to your potion bowl. The bottom half of the potion bottle is your bowl you’ll use for all the mixing.
Now you want to add in the seashell spell activator and mix it up. Don’t mix it to much, but let it sit for 3-5 minutes. You want to let it sit so that the slime will start to form.
Once you have waited, it should have activated and became slime. There may be extra activator in there. We just dumped the extra out. Now you get to add all the fun surprise beads!
Add in your second pack of surprise beads!
Now add your very last surprise beads package and you have your slime! The unicorn slime is made very similar as well, except you have use water instead of the activator.
Slime Creations
Check out some of the slimes my daughters created! They’re all so beautiful! They sure do look like unicorn and mermaid slime too. We all really love the colors of all of these slimes. All the surprise items that were added were amazing as well. That really made these slimes look even better. We love adding in items like this to our slimes as well, so it was fun for my daughters to be able to do that.
All together they were able to make a total of eight slime potions. With each potion product, you’re able to make two slimes, which was really neat. My daughters had so much fun making theirs. They said that they really loved being able to make the slime.
Potion Bottles
They also really loved these potion bottles that you put your slime in. It made it so much fun! Now they get to keep all the slime stored nicely in the bottles and play with them whenever they’d like. That way it keeps the slime from getting hard too. We always make sure to keep them in containers so that they can last longer.
Stretchy
All the slimes were super stretchy too! My daughters really love it when the slime can stretch the way this slime does. My youngest daughter Tesla even said that it was the best slime she’s had. There is one that she really loves the most, and says it’s her favorite one from all the slime she has at home now. It was great to be able to hear her say that. They sure did enjoy these a lot!
Having them in a potion bottle has been so much fun! Mercades (my oldest) wants to keep the big potion bottles that everything came in as well. She wants to use them for something, and I think that is great! They are very neat bottles, and I think they would be fun to keep too.
