As some of you may already know, I’ve been trying to eat healthier and just keep a better lifestyle. One of my favorite things to make that’s very healthy, are smoothies. I love using all kinds of fresh berries for my smoothies. Sometimes I’ll even throw in some vegetables. I love to use spinach too. Some of you may think that green smoothies don’t look good or taste good, but I think the complete opposite. You don’t have to put a bunch of greens in yours smoothies. With spinach it actually doesn’t taste bad at all. It’s one of my favorite smoothies too. I love using berries and spinach for my smoothies.

Since I love to make smoothies, I need something that is going to blend them up well. I don’t want to be left with chunks of any fruits or vegetables. I needed something that was going to work well for all the times I’d need to use a blender. There are many other things I enjoy making with a blender too, but smoothies are my favorite. My daughters love them too. They’re always asking me to make them one.

How many of you own a Ninja blender? I actually own a couple of their products now. The newest one I was able to review is called the Nutri Ninja Auto-iQ. I knew this was going to be an awesome product to use for my smoothies. It came with many pieces too. I love the cups that it comes with, because you can drink right from them. You can use them right on the blender, and then you can put the cover on it and start drinking your smoothies. It’s great because you’re not making more dirty dishes. Another thing that was really neat about this product, is that it also came with a food processor bowl. That means I can chop up many ingredients or even make cookie dough with it!

The first thing I decided to do with this product, was make a smoothie. Since my daughters have been asking for one, I decided to make one for them. I let them put the ingredients in that they wanted, and I blended them up for them. Then I poured them in glasses so that they could do whatever they wanted with them. Both of them decided they wanted to top them with some fruit. My daughters love their fruit, so it was no surprise when they wanted to do this. I love that the smoothies came out very smooth and they didn’t take long to make at all.

Since smoothie bowls see to be very popular lately, I decided to make one of those as well. You can find the recipe below.

  • 1 Cup Strawberries
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • 1/2 of a Banana

  • Bananas
  • Strawberries
  • Granola
  • Blueberries

Directions: Use your blender for the 1/2 cup water, 1 cup strawberries and 1/2 of the banana and blend those all up. Once that’s all blended you’ll want to pour it in a bowl. Next you get to top it with the toppings. I used bananas, blueberries, granola and strawberries. You can use anything you want, but this sounded good to me. There is no real amount on what to use, so I just started topping it off with everything. I put granola around the outside of the bowl, and then added four strawberries, which were cut in half. Then I added in some blueberries and bananas. That’s all there is to it. It’s a very simple recipe and it’s very delicious.

I had a get together over the weekend, and my father was there, and he decided he wanted to help make some cookies. Since he wanted cookies, I decided that this would be the perfect time to try out the food processor bowl for the Nutri Ninja. We decided to try it with some sugar cookies. We all love those cookies, so I found a recipe online and went with that.

I was amazed to see how well it was able to blend up all the ingredients. In the photo above you’ll see that I blended up the sugar and butter. It was very smooth and blended well. This is better then what I would normally use to blend up my cookies. Actually I do a lot of recipes by hand, so I don’t even use a mixer. I’m happy how this product has turned out. I can’t wait to start making more recipes with it too.

Overall I have to say that I’m loving my Nutri Ninja Auto-iQ. I’m already thinking of some recipes that I can start making with this product. It’s definitely a nice addition to our home. I love having new kitchen products, and this one fits right in with the rest of my products. You could replace so many items by just getting this product too. That’s the great thing about it. Instead of buying all the products you need, you can get this and it’s like having more than one product in one.

If you are looking for a great product for your home, make sure to check out the Nutri Ninja Auto-iQ. I think you’re going to love it as much as I do. It’s been great to have it around because I love to make food/drinks.

What would you love to make with this product?

  1. We are currently looking for a blender/food processor for my grandson who is starting on solid food. I think this Nutri Ninja is the best choice. Both mom and baby would benefit from this awesome appliance. Thank you for the review.

  2. I love the Ninja products. I use my Ninja Blender every day. This would be another great product to own for making smoothies for everyone!

    • Glad to hear you love this brand too. This one is my favorite one so far! I own another one that is an older one, but nothing compares to this one.

  3. I make a green smoothie most mornings and this blender would definitely come in handy. I like that it has the smaller togo cups so you don’t have to clean the whole blender when you need to run out the door.

    • That is a wonderful thing about this. You can blend everything up with the cup and put the lid on and you’re good to go.

  4. Oh my goodness, I have the smaller version and so want this one. I need that bigger blender for so many recipes. I need to just go and get it. LOL.

  5. I saw this at my local Sams Club and was wondering about it. I currently own a high end blender but passed on it but might think about it for my daughter who just got her very first apartment.

  6. Smoothie bowls have been all the rage this year. I am loving the specs of this machine… I’ve been wanting to try out a few smoothies myself and this recipe is so simple!

    • Exactly why I thought I’d make one. They’re so good too! This product makes it simple to mix all the ingredients as well.

  7. I love that it has a lot of uses other than just blending fruits and veggies. It’s definitely worth buying especially if you love cooking or baking! This is a must have!

  8. Nice product you got! I would love to make a detox smoothies every morning using this product. I’m sure that it would be a lot way easier!

  9. Wow, I love this product and looks like very easy to use. I would love to have a mango smoothie using this product.

  10. I also love smoothies and I even include my protein shave when making fruit and nut smoothie. Never considered ninja blenders, but I am going to think about them now. Thanks

  11. I love my Nutri Ninja so much! It’s such a great blender, mixer and like you showed also for so many other things! It’s so powerful and gets rid of the need for so many appliances.

  12. We have a nutri-bullet and a blender separate, This sounds like it is the both in one swell product. I have been wanting a blender that can make some awesome peanut butter and this could be it.

  13. I have one of these and I use it for everything. I even use it to dice up veggies. It is the perfect tool for every kitchen.

  14. I’ve never had any of the Ninja products but I would love to have any of them. They all have great reviews. I’m lusting after the coffee bar right now.

  15. That Ninja looks like it does so many different delicious things. I love what you did with the blueberries as garnish circling the glass in the smoothie you created.

  16. The name suits the product, looks like you have a great tool there! I love your recipe and I can’t wait to try it with this product, great review!

  17. Oh my, the fruit looks so amazing. I’m not big on storing many appliances, but this one would do so much. I have a small one, but this one is the king!

  18. I have a Vitamix, but it has seemingly lost its luster within the past year. Since I’ve been hearing so much good about this brand lately, I think I might have to get one of these someday!

  19. We have one of these and it’s awesome! I also highly recommend this Nutri Ninja and I assure you you’ll gonna love it.

  20. This recipe looks like such a great, healthy food option! I’m not crazy about the blender brand, though. I bought a Ninja blender about 4 years ago, and was sorely disappointed. All my smoothies came out chunky, despite all the blades on the model I purchased, and then, within a year, the plastic blender container cracked.

    • I’m sorry to hear that. I have never had an issue with Ninja. They always worked great for me. This is a newer model and it really works well. I’m surprised to hear it didn’t work well for you.
